Basque kitchen, original nice place with good service, good food, too high priced if you see what you got. For instance the Boudin is nice but with four pieces of apple and two pieces of blood saucages not 18€ when there are no nice side dishes. Still a nice place because of the atmosphere

Thank enruit

Very good basque food! Accommodating staff. Nice ambiance for a late lunch. Enjoyed the fresh salad with French onion soup, delicious!

You know how it goes - you hunt around Paris searching for a fantastic restaurant that was recommended to you, and when you eventually find it you discover it's shut...!!!
Resort to plan B - you walked past a nice looking place when you were trying to find the recommended restaurant so you decide to give it a try.

Well guess what - now this will be one of our recommendations to friends going to Paris, (and I'll give them better directions too!).

It was pretty late when we arrived, however this was clearly not a problem and we were welcomed in and given a nice table.

The staff were very forgiving with my poor attempt at the French language, and rewarded my efforts with a menu in English.

It didn't take long for the wine to be flowing, and soon after that we were enjoying some fabulous food too.

The atmosphere was lovely. There were folk of all ages in there, and everyone appeared to be having a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

We shared a lovely desert, (of which I have posted a picture on here).

I would happily go back to this restaurant, and have no hesitations in recommending it to you.

Although the cafe was full, we were welcomed to sit on the terrace. It was a chilly day but blankets and heat lamps made it quite cozy. We had a nice glass of champagne and lovely sandwiches along with great people watching near Notre Dame.
