We stayed around the corner on Rue Lagrange and stumbled across this place on our way down to Notre Dame. I am so glad we did, first dinner in Paris and honestly, one of the best. Grilled duck – out of this world, only rivaled by the carrot purée that was with it. Excellent food, wine and service. Very patient with us as this was our very first attempt at Parisian dining. Would highly recommend it.

What is good:
Location - not far from Notre Dame de Paris- just be patient and find this restaurant and you wont regret.
Food - it is so good- Foie Gras, meat, desserts - we tried everything
Service - I saw, one of the reviewers did not like it, but our waiter was very good, helpful, spoke English well - cant say anything bad
What is bad - we did not have a chance to try everything, we just did not have enough space :)

Will definitely come back to Beaurepaire again!

We stumbled upon this restaurant after finding out that our main choice was fully booked. What luck! The food was amazing, the service fantistic and very French in a good way. The Foie Gras was to die for; we also had the chef's mushroom dish - so simple and yet so wonderful. The waiter/owner was great with real Parisien flair - he recommended a fantastic wine cheaper than the one we were selecting (how often does that happen?). We had ample time and really enjoyed our last dinner in Paris. The terrasse is very nice, cozy and they have blankets in a basket in the restaurant. We sat inside, though. Only minor suggestion is that the lighting could be dimmed a bit.

we ordered the beef steak (entrecote) for two, so 1 kg of meat! the main dishes comes with a plate of mixed cold starters (salami, ham crudo, croinichons, a very big plate!) and some side orders like vegetables and home made fries. the meat was very delicious!!! and also the staff was so nice & attentive! we were very lucky to have dinner there! we can highly recommend this place!!!

We decide to eat in this Cafe as it's NOT far from Notre Dame de PAris - and away from touristic ways. So the place is good: calm street with terrace on the street. The food choice was nice, the wine not so brilliant (just 3-4 table wine of red/white).
What we really DISLIKE is the service. THey have only two waiters. The boy would have to do all works while a girl just talking by phone near us. we showed her we were ready to place an order - she showed us the sign - she was talking by phone (the guy got our order), we finished our first course - she showed us the sign - she was talking by phone (the guy bring us out next dishes). We waited for 30 minutes for our desserts - she showed us the sign - she was talking by phone - we asked the bill - they bring us the bill - and when we started complaining why they input desserts - only after that they bring us our desserts. As a result we waste 1,5 hours for a lunch.
