This lovely little hotel is very well located. Staff are polite, responsive, and proper. Room was spacious and clean, well appointed and quite comfortable. I booked a "single" and expected a twin bed, so was delighted to find that there were two beds pushed together so I could spread out a bit more. Bathroom had a big, deep tub (with very nice shower) instead of a tiny shower stall. To mitigate the heat wave, the hotel kindly placed a tower fan in the room. And there was a small fridge that was quite useful for keeping breakfast items and snacks. This is a well-priced European boutique hotel in a historic building, not a cookie-cutter American corporate property. The service is flawless if you know what to expect; it isn't effusive or obsequious, but is unfailingly courteous and ready to accommodate reasonable specific requests.

If you’re after a simple, clean room then you should go here. However, it was not up to my expectation.

Let’s start with the front desk, they are rude. They are both male, they never say hello and barely acknowledge you. The stairway/hallway is not lit so it’s hard to navigate even in the day.
The room was small and dated with clear signs of wear and tear in the bathroom. The mattress/pillows are hard. The fridge has a weird smell coming from it.

Position in the quartier latin is perfect, close to most sights and public transport. Older hotel, lobby, bathroom so so. Rooms not really sound proof. Go and have breakfast in one of the bars on bd saint germain.

The Hotel is perfect for weekend breaks; the rooms are a reasonable size and clean; check in and out was very fast, Home Latin is surrounded by Restaurants and Bars. You have a 15 minutes stroll to Notre Dame Cathedral and about 30 minutes stroll to the Louvre. We arrived for the St Patricks day Parade in the Latin Quarter and it was good fun, Pubs and Restaurants also joined in the Celebrations serving Green Beer and displaying the Irish Flag. The area around the Hotel is safe as we walked back every night and with no issues. I would stay here again as the price and location are very good.

This hotel is so central in Paris. Easy walk to everywhere. The room was small, but I've been in smaller. And it's central Paris, it's what I expected. I slept well. And the staff where very helpful with anything I asked.
I would definitely stay here again.
