Although this beautiful arch can be overlooked - since it's near the Louvre, which overshadows it, and because it's NOT the Arc d'Triomphe - it actually should be a main attraction. It's gorgeous and although it's perhaps not as grand and the big arch de triomphe (at the end/start of Champs Elysees) they're a matched set of sort and this arch should be given due respect. Besides, if you're at the pyramid already, it takes a minute or two - and walking about 50 meters - to give this elaborate beauty a once over.
