Rue du Dragon has a number of Italian restaurants, and we decided upon Divina Commedia for a couple of reasons. First, we liked the decor. And secondly, we liked Leonardo, who greeted us as we were walking by when I inquired about a reservation. It paid off, the food was very good, as was the wine, and the price was reasonable. We started with a shared calamari and artichoke salad, which was excellent, and then for our main courses had freshly made raviolis and a risotto dish with scallops and strawberries. Yes, strawberries, and the results was superb. They also have pasta dishes and pizza. We finished with the house dessert specialty of profiteroles. What is nice is that it's a quiet street so if you want a table outside you don't have to worry about a lot of street traffic, just a few people walking by. Service was excellent as well. We'll be going back next time we are in town.

We made reservations at this place after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor. The food was good, but not "great". The mushroom risotto was good, as was the fish. The people at the restaurant very extremely friendly, and took pains to explain the menu to us and make recommendations. We sat on the first floor, but try to reserve a place for the ground floor...that has more ambience.

remembered where it was located, and wondered if it was open that evening, as it was a holiday in France. We approached the restaurant, and a gentleman who was seated out front jumped up and described different items on the menu to us.
The restaurant looked welcoming, and although there was no one seated in it at the time, decided to go in.
We split the appetizer - eggplant millefeuille which was 19 Euros, my main course was veal limone and a side of pasta, and profiteroles for dessert with 2 glasses of wine.
Cost approximately100 Euros for 2.
Met a couple at the next table from Ojai, CA. who had just arrived in Paris and they enjoyed their pizza dish.
This was the last night of our trip to France, and in Paris, so it was a enjoyable way to end the evening and trip.

We found La Divina Commedia taking a leisurly stroll through the Rue du Dragon, one of the prettiest streets in the Left Bank, which is full of pretty streets. We were welcomed by the owner, Leonardo, who suggested we take a table inside, with open space and view to the street. My wife heard from a table nearby that the 'pizza' was wonderful, and she ordered the 'margherita'. She was not disappointed. I had the 'penne alarabbiata' which was ideal, not too spicy nor too dull, cooked to perfection with ultra fsh ingredients. Prices were more than reasonable, and service friendly and attentive. We will return and and will definitely recommend it to friends!
