“Very, very, very big”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 10, 2012

If size matters, then this humongous building ranks supreme. Our guide told us a story about people who actually lived there but due to the massiveness of the building, the guards didn't even know. The clock in the photo was the highlight (we didn't go inside). It's kind of a can't-miss building; you just may not know what you're looking at if it's not pointed out.

“See while visiting St Chapelle”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 2, 2012

You are there seeing Saint Chapelle, so on the way out you may as well enjoy the palace of justice. It is not a real tourist sight, but you are in Paris and it is part of the day to day life of Paris. No real tours, but to see the building and observe its beauty does not take much time.

“very impressive building”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 13, 2012

Part of the huge site that includes La Conciergerie and La Chapelle both popular attractions, As a Government office no public access is allowed. How anyone could fail to be impressed with this majestic architecture and sheer weight of history confounds me. Is one of the most impressive old buildings in Paris, especially when viewed from across the Seine which gives you some perspective of this huge building an its fascinating surrounding area.

“Don't waste your time; see Saint Chapelle instead.”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 7, 2011

Building is lovely on the outside but as a working courthouse you don't get to see any if the buildings real inner beauty. The Conciergerie is also disappointing. Spend your time visiting Sainte Chapelle instead. It's an experience you won't forget.
