some paris friends said i should go here instead of the tourist trap. I did. It was more than worth it!
we took the show+champagne, half a bottle each. the drinks are quite expensive there so the option with champagne is nice.
you get checked at the entrance, then you approach the front-desk and get your ticket checked and sent downstairs where u can leave your jacket for free.
u queue again at a second ticket check and then you'll get seated.
so with all this it is best to come at least 20-30min earlier.
the show was interesting, had very nice art bits, light and visual effects and overall creative choreographies. The music was nice, but a bit heavy on the american-english part. a very little break would be appropriate when sitting for 2h drinking champagne.
I must say, that this time the 'red thread' with a peak performance was missing. it was a bit like having one good performance after the other and it was not culminating into a pompous and crazy climax, as i hoped it would. at a show that is called 'totally crazy'.
yes the girls are naked and pretty from head to toe. They really seemed to enjoy performing and acting. Big compliments to them!
As it was the first show of the evening, a quite stressed flair with a slight kicking-out vibe (making on purpose loud noises close to you) took place at the end, while finishing the last sips.
there is a picture service to get a headshot of you which you can decline while taking and even when she comes with the printed ones. Or you can have them.
Don't be irritated by the continuously present and repeated reminder of being in the real and only crazy horse. I hoped as much. And I hoped they wouldn't need to even say it.
In short: It was modern burlesque and worth a visit. I'd recommend it, definitely.
ps.: no pictures, as you can't take pictures
