The Palace is in the Luxembourg Gardens and it is a beautiful sight to see. The public I believe is only allowed in once a year (in Sept?) and is heavily guarded as it is the meeting place of the French Senate.

Still, quite the sight to behold within probably Paris' most beautiful park.

It looks nice. Should be clear signs saying don’t climb fence. We found out the hard way. Does look nice though.

Magnificent Luxembourg Palace is a seat of French Parliament, and unfortunately, despite my several trips to Paris, it was never opened on the days of my visits. However, I never miss admiring it from the beautiful lawns of the Jardin de Luxembourg, my favorite spot in Paris.

Marie de Médicis started the construction of the palace in 1610 and wanted to model it after Florence's Palazzo Pitti.

The beauty in the design and architecture of this wonderful place. Check out the sculptures on the sides and the top portion of the building. Make sure to see the gardens and landscape.

Luxembourg Palace is the home of French Senate, and it was built between 1615 and 1645. It's possible to visit, free of charge, it in the third weekend of the month of September, when it happens the Open Gates of European Institutions.
The palace worth a waiting at a queue, having brilliant halls with painted ceilings, large libraries, rare paintings and statues.
Also you have the privilege to see the Senate Hall, where French senators debate important state problems.
