I live a 15 minute walk, & I never go to "Le Champs"
It was once so beautiful with French Lux,
now, its all been replaced with American junk, and movie shows, fast food garbage ,& the restaurants serving Tourist food. They are just looking to earn a quick buck, fogetaboutit.

Always lovely to stroll & people watch- stop & have a glass of wine. High end stores largely but beautiful boulevard leading to the Arc D'Triomphe

You'd never have expected McDonald's and 5 Guys on the Champs.
Lots of awful panhandlers and vagrants.
Expect to trip on the poorly paved sidewalks.
If only Guerlain's main digs would get the hell over to the Avenue Montaigne!

An expensive shopping experience, but fun to window shop, and hit a local cafe for lunch or an afternoon wine or beer.

They say the best way to know a city is by walk. The champs elysees is the place to walk in Paris. All the cafes, parks, stores. I walked from the arc to the louvre and I enjoyed that day sooo much!
