Owner description: Perhaps the most famous street in Paris, this wide, tree-lined avenue is home to the city's chic restaurants, shops and boutiques.

Paris the romantic city. A food capital as well. Champs elysees is the most famous avenue in the world. You can have breakfast in one of the cafe trottoirs, lunch in one of the many restaurants and dine finally or,maybe have drink. The champs are also a paradise shopping, all the brand stores are at the champs. There are evevn a couple of nightclubs. I went several times to the champs and never get bored.

Many guides suggested walking away from the arch (west to east) but we found the walk towards the arch still very enjoyable. So many stores along the way but there are something for everyone. People watching is also fun, seeing tourists coming in and out of the famous brands' stores and check out their finds!

Taking photos along the way of the arch was quite fun as well, and some unique views and stores await you!

Most of the stores were incredibly busy and hot but I enjoyed my day. Also has sights of the Arc de Triomphe

Long walk for the whole street so you might have to spend few hours there. Some nice cafe and restaurants nearby.

When we stood looking down this long avenue, I was reminded of my WWII dad and the armies that marched here. Beautiful avenue. Shops far too expensive for us, gorgeous at night when viewed from top of Arc de Triomphe.
