“Fabulous local produce”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2013

This place was a real find. Fabulous food purchased from local districts. It is for a one off or special dinner but a must for your trip. I only ordered drinks hy the glass but my partner had the accompanying wines and loved it.

“Wine + Food = Impressed”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed March 15, 2013

I rarely bother to write a review and when i write one mostly because i'm impressed or disappointed. Qui plume la lune left a memorable impression on my trip in paris. They offer wine pairing with your food because they offer "course", each course will be paired with different type of wine, this will enhance the taste of the food and wine itself. yes the price will be way more expensive than getting a bottle of wine (think when you're stuck with a bottle of red wine paired with a fish course...). the food are french japanese fusion, if you see a yellow drop of sauce in your plate, that's not just for decoration, taste them up and you'll find an exquisite mix of sauce in your mouth. For the wine pairing, If you dont want to pay that much, DO NOT go with glasses of wine paired with the menu, the wine price are not included, you will end up with 60-70 € (pro person) just for the wine, go with bottle...BUT bare in mind, you are in France, so yep, you are going to miss those exquisite different type of wine not to mention they'll be way more expensive back at your homeland.
restaurant's ambience, decoration are good. Excellent & friendly staff, they explain each course & wine both in french and english. not my type of restaurant for a romantic evening, tables are too packed in a small space. At the end, even after swearing silently upon seeing the bill (hubby did swore silently), we are happy to pay that much for such an amazing dinner.

“Careful with the wine!”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 13, 2013

The meals were great, BUT! we ordered a 4 course menu (75€) and the chief waiter suggested we drink glasses of wine to the menu, but didn't tell us what it would cost, so after 6 glasses of wine (too much) and a wine bill of 75 € (pro person) we left the restaurant after a good meal with a bitter taste in our mouths.

Dear Sir,
Thank you for your feedback. As always, comments are most welcome as they give us the opportunity to improve our service.
However, we are surprised there was a misunderstanding regarding our "mets et vins" formula. Indeed our main concern is to offer each of our dishes the better match with a wine available from our selective cellar.
With each dish, a wine suggestion is made, and this suggestion is evidently only served to you should you agree to it. This formula is clearly explained on our menu (wine by glass from 8 to 25 euros) and the price for a glass simply corresponds to the price of the bottle divided by 6.
We are therefore sorry that the wine bill came to you as a surprise. We pride ourselves on delivering a gustative experience with our fine cuisine, and our wine list always provides a selection of glasses that will enhance the experience without compromising your bill.
We really hope see you soon again.
king regards

“Unique experience of tastes. Calm, friendly and cozy.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 4, 2012

You eat what the chef cooks for you in secret!
You do not know what you will eat until it arrives in front of you!
Its a small restaurant with 10 tables or so. You better reserve your table most tables are only for 2 persons I think that only one or two tables are for small group like four or five people. Perfect for romantic dinners.

The restaurant has a unique way of doing things. The chef serves you what he feels like serving you today.
And everyday there is a different meal prepared as it is basing its menus according to the products of the day of the “seasons”. This restaurant is a one you want to go to to try out a bit of different tastes. It has some traditional french cuisine gastronomic type and a good proportion of fusion cuisine like mixing Japanese teryaki sauce with for example fois gras. You are definitely experimenting something unique, marvelous, amazing.

The feeling is great, the servers are very easygoing yet respectful, they explain in french every dish they serve and with us they did their best in English our server Kevin was very efficient and took time to try to translate as much as he could.

The setting is a cozy one. Stones and wood a bit like a cozy chalet. Yet some modern settings to. Good for romance.

There is no background music. But what is strange is that it felt good as the atmosphere of the restaurant fits well with no music.

A good point is that the kitchen is behind a door that has simple windows, and us from our table we could really see from afar, the chef cooking and the whole team getting busy.

Very important the server asks you before starting if you are allergic to any food as they will serve you things you can not know ahead so if you are for example allergic to sea food or peanuts etc... tell expressively the sever and make sure he understood you so they will not serve you that ingredient in the plates.

The dinner can take 3 to 4 hours so be prepared it is a restaurant you will spend a whole evening in. we arrived at 7:30pm and left at 11:30pm.
