This was a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. The reception at the desk was very accommodating and they got us into a room early, which was a nice treat as it was unexpected. The room was small, but very clean and had all the amenities expected for the rate we paid. I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking to be out and about in the city for the duration of their stay, but the room was just fine for a great sleep!

By European standards we had a "large" deluxe room at 215 square feet. The hallways were very narrow and the elevator would not accommodate more than four people. Getting our luggage to the fourth floor was a challenge. On the plus side, all the staff were extremely helpful and courteous. They saved us $40 on our return trip to the airport. The location was ideal to all the sites one wants to experience when in Paris. It was about a 30 minute ride from CDG airport. I would not hesitate to stay stay there again on our next visit to Paris.

Room Tip: Get the "deluxe" room with a small balcony. It's worth the extra money.

Great localization, 3 blocks from Notre-Dame Cathedral, warm and friendly staff (Mélanie is a wonderful concièrge). Air conditioning not strong enough in the hottest days, shower space unfit for bigger persons. Clean, good wifi, comfy.

Great central location, walking distance to Notre Dame. Clean and well kept hotel. Petite boutique spaces - rooms and breakfast - so not for a traveller looking for large rooms.

Average staff and services.

Very clean and well decorated rooms.

Would definitely stay here again.

Great nearby affordable and pleasant cafes and restaurants - virtually on the doorstop - a great find for those walking Paris.

Room Tip: Choose a low floor room - the elevator is slow and tiny, so regularly we would walk, which gets tiri...

There are many Best Western hotels in this side of Paris. My short stay in this particular one in Rue de Sommerard allowed me to experience high value accommodation for tourists.

The single bedroom is just right for one person - bed was comfortable, facilities were acceptable, flat screen television is large enough (it doesnt matter though as most shows are in French anyway except for CNN). The curtain, wallpaper and table are clean and kept tidy daily. Coffee is replenished regularly.

Bath room cleanliness was appreciated and I took note of daily replenishment of fresh towels. Shower stall is very small, though.

One key advantage of this hotel is location, it is simply strategic - in the middle of where the action is, tourist spots like notre dame cathedral, historic seine river, luxembourg garden. Right beside the hotel are 2 restaurants that offer good food at reasonable prices (Cafe Cantante is one of them.) a few subway stations away are the Eiffel Tower, Arc de Triomphe, and Champs Elysees. Walk a few hundred meters and you will find paris cafes, cafes and more cafes. The hotel is near various convenience of transportation - walking, riding the bus, taking the Metro subway or the RER train.

Free wifi is one of the best deals here except that you frequently need to log in every now and then.
Lastly, front desk and housekeeping were very courteous. Reception was helpful in giving directions and arranging for transportation to the airport. Raj and Melanie were always glad to assist.
