This hotel is in a great location. There are a number of bistros and brasseries nearby and all of the main attractions are within walking distance. The hotel is "compact" but very modern and extremely clean. I agree with other reviewers, the rooms are small (especially the shower!!) but this didn't matter. The staff were so friendly and very helpful. It isn't the quietest of hotels as the room doors are very close together and street is quite busy but it is a city after all! I would definitely return here the next time I am back in Paris. We didn't have breakfast here - take a walk down into the Latin Quarter and try "Boulangerie de Pape" for a "formulae duo" (coffee, croissant or pain au chocolat and juice for 2 people) for 8 euros - excellent value and very tasty!

Room Tip: Ask for a high floor room to limit street noise.

I stayed here for three nights. The room was compact, but nicely designed and perfectly adequate for one person and it was spotless. Considering my business, and the ability to enjoy great sights and food, this was an ideal location. I could not have asked for a more friendly and helpful staff. Thanks to them I had two great dinners. I would stay here again without any hesitation.

Room Tip: Ask for a street view.

Stayed here for two nights and have to say it was perfect. The room was on the small side, and the bathroom is tiny, but the room was very clean and modern. Bfast was a cold buffet but very good choice. All of the staff we encountered were really friendly and helpful. The location of this hotel is second to none, great bars and restaurants on your doorstep and we walked to alot of the museums. The metro system is easy to use and takes about 15 mins to get to hotel from the eurostar. Would stay here again without a doubt.

Recently stayed at this property which is a couple of blocks from Notre Dame, and in close proximity to lots of restaurants, Museums (including the Louvre), Metro stops, and the bridges of the Seine, among others. I took my 16 year old daughter to Paris and we stayed here. We walked most everywhere, even to the Arch de Triomphe, Champs Elysees, and Eiffel Tower, although I'll admit that was a long stroll. The help at the front desk was some of the best I've experienced in my 3 visits to Paris. While we often tried to practice our French with them, they were able to shift well enough to English when needed and were friendly. They arranged cabs and made fine recommendations for local restaurants. The building has a small lift and carpeted circular stairs to the different floors. The lobby offers snacks and libation at reasonable costs. For those who have breakfast in the hotel, it's on the lower floor (below the lobby) and it was clean and roomy. Breakfast was what I'd call the basic "continental breakfast" common to French hotels, with decent variety as well as coffee, tea, etc. I didn't book the largest room, so it appears some are bigger than what we stayed in, but ours had 2 single beds (our request), a small desk area, a bathroom with full bath, and a small closet, and not much else. Wi-fi was included in the cost. Housekeeping did a nice job changing the sheets and towels and replacing any bath amenities we used. We took cabs to / from the hotel and CDG airport and it was approximately 45 minutes each way - about 55 euros each way. I will definitely consider staying there again.

Room Tip: If you don't mind paying a bit more, ask for a deluxe room.

The hotel itself is ok, but the location in the hearth of Paris is great. Difficult to find a better area to stay. Personnel was very friendly. Only unpleasant surprise was that they debited my credit card one month before my stay already. This was supposed to be a condition for my discount reservation, but was not communicated in advance.

This hotel is perfectly positioned 5 minutes walk from Notre Dame, 5 minutes walk to main Metro/RER station (Saint Michel) and 5 minutes walk to a buzzing area of restaurants and bars (of mixed quality but every cuisine and style you could imagine).
We took breakfast on one morning and although it seemed expensive initially, compared to breakfast elsewhere in Paris it actually represents good value for a lovely fresh selection of continental breakfast items, juices, hot drinks and boiled eggs.
The rooms were perfectly finished, seem to be recently refurbished and everything (fixtures and fittings-wise) spotless and in perfect order. Rooms have kettle and tea/coffee etc, hairdryer, free safe, good lighting, heating/cooling, comfy bed, all you could need.
The only problem was the tiny shower. I'd read many reviews on here saying the same and thought "they can't be that bad" but they really are! The cubicle is tiny and the problem is that they have fitted them with controls that project into that tiny space. So if you try to move whilst in the shower the odds are you will turn it off or inadvertently adjust the temperature! This design fault is the only thing to let the hotel down. All the staff we encountered were friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. On check-in we were offered a choice of street or court yard room. We chose street but did regret that as it was very noisy with late-night weekend noise which I suppose we should have guessed! Nice to be offered a choice though.
I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel and will stay again.

Room Tip: If offered the choice don't choose a street room.
