From the exit of the Metro at Concorde (exit rue cambon) the hotel is almost across the street. The entrance is hidden in a courtyard but a sign at the wall of the building indicates the entrance.
With lots of suitcases it takes some time to get to the 3rd floor lobby, as the lift allows only 1 person with a bag and not much more. It's really tiny and slow but it works.
The people at the check-in were quite friendly and we were given a room in the 6th floor.
The lift only goes up to 5th but the stairs are wide enough and short to get to the room even with luggage.
The room was spacious (3 single beds). There was an empty fridge and a small flat-screen tv.
The bath room had a tub, some soap and some basic shower gel.
Overall it was clean but the room, bath room fitting, furniture, carpet etc. was old.
Don't expect too much when choosing this hotel. It is a place to sleep at a very convenient location. With this in mind, you should be fine.
Breakfast was ok for a quick bite before sightseeing. There were some cereals, croissants, baguettes and a coffee maker. Free Wifi is available and worked well.
Would I recommend it? No, unless you need a "not so expensive" place at a great location.
Would I stay again? Probably not.More
