Excellent location! 1st arr, 2 mins to the Louvre and Metro!

That would be enough!! The hotel itself was lovely! A quaint boutique hotel tucked into a bustling square. Attentive staff, clean, modern, and a welcome respite from the busy days sightseeing. Our room was an apartment with a kitchen. it was clean and spacious and had everything we needed to feel comfortable away from home. We will definitely return here next time we are in Paris!

Paris for a week in late May and Citadines Louvre proved a wonderful choice. Ascott Limited is the largest international owner operator of apartments and they appear to have spent some big money doing this place over not that long ago. We stayed in an "exclusive suite" which is not the top of the rung but about middle. It had everything and all the equipment was new. A small balcony and opening doors gave fresh air and it all felt very comfortable. The staff are excellent and assisted with restaurants and transfers as required. We tend to explore a bit on foot once we get where we are staying and this place is in walking distance of just about everything. So if the budget suits this place will be a favorite on your trip - so go ahead and get lost in the back streets of Paris, discover
and enjoy it all.

Room Tip: We wee on the 4th floor. I think higher would be better

Definitely a superb choice for Paris. The location is tip-top. The hotel is located in very short walking distance to many attractions such as Louvre, Opera House, Cathedral. You have just a few steps away to metro stations and bars, cafes, restaurants, shops. The service in Citadines Suites Louvre Paris is just great. The staff at the reception is perfect (very polite, friendly and helpful ). We had a quiet premiere suite with 2 French balconies and small kitchenette located on the first floor. The suite was quite spacious, pristine and nicely decorated. Breakfast was good and adequate. I recommend this hotel.

First impressions count – the reception staff at Citadines du Louvre certainly get top marks for this, utterly professional, totally calm and most welcoming . Once checked-in offers to make dinner reservations and some suggestions for possible dining venues were most helpful.

The thing that struck me most about the Citadines was that it is immaculate in every corner and crevice. The rooms are not large but they are very well designed and there is enough space to do everything you could want. Again the level of finish is outstanding; whoever supervised the recent refurbishment really had an eye for detail. The quality of the materials and fittings certainly give a very high class feel and appearance that should satisfy the most discerning traveler.

We didn’t take advantage of the breakfast service, preferring to save ourselves for lunch and dinner; however, there are complimentary coffee and fruit juices available from late morning until late afternoon which is a really nice touch.
We found the location to be excellent, it is literally about a 2 minute walk to the metro for access to more distant attractions but with so much on the doorstep we hardly needed to use it.
I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a central location and will also be looking for other Citadines when travelling in the future.

Top marks all round

We were very pleased with this hotel. Excellent location about 1 minutes walk from the Louvre. The living room is a good size, the bedroom (and bed) are a little small- if you are tall you may need to stay somewhere else! The suite is well equipped with a washer/dryer (not that we used it) and tea and coffee facilities. However, it's definitely not cheap!

The best part of this property is the location. It is walking distance to almost everywhere. 3 years ago we stood at Citadines St. Germaine. This one appears much smaller. Even though our room was the largest, it still felt small. However very nicely decorated with top quality appliances. Service was very good also. I was unhappy about the room feeling warm(it was cold outside and air conditioning hadn't been started yet.) They gave me champagne and cookies for our inconvenience. There is a very nice breakfast for an additional price in the dining area . Our room was very quiet. We had a nice balcony. I would stay there again. Though I might make sure ahead of time that the air is on and working well.

Room Tip: We had a suite with the balcony. Worth the extra money.

We stayed here two years ago before the major refurb last year. The place looks a treat, the suites have been attractively and comfortably furnished. We like this location because it is in walking distance of most things we like to visit in Paris. The only downside is the noise. Our suite was on the rue de Richelieu and due to the fact that there appears to be very little sound proofing we had our sleep disturbed every night. We have stayed in a hotel in a busy part of Rome but the hotel invested money in sound proofing with a much improved outcome. Maybe suites on the other side of the hotel are quieter. Given how much they charge, we'll be staying elsewhere next year.

Room Tip: Choose the Palais Royal side of the building, it's quieter.
