Room was cute, location perfect. Bathroom large, overall great. Staff was friendly and attentive.

Problems with cleanliness though - there were bugs in bathroom! Ewwww!

Price of their breakfast ridiculous - walk to the carrousel du louvre nearby instead.

Dear Guest,

Thank you for your honest feedback. Our customers' reviews are a valuable resource to ensure we are offering the best product and service.

I am happy to hear your enjoyed the central location of our hotel, the size & décor of your room and the professionalism of our staff.

However I am rather concerned regarding your comments on the cleanliness of your bathroom. Safety, security and cleanliness are our first and foremost concern. The annual rating we receive on TP for the cleanliness of the hotel is 4 of 5.
I would like to obtain some additional detail regarding your stay so please could you kindly contact me ( Regina.guestrelation@hotels-baverez.com) so that I may address any issues that you experienced.

Clients can choose between a full buffet breakfast or continental breakfast and our prices are the same applied by any 4* deluxe hotels in Paris. Of course there are plenty options just around the corner for those who just need to grab a coffee/tea and “croissants”. According to the dates you can also easily find different special offers including breakfast on our new website.

Nevertheless, rest assured we have taken note of your comments and corrective actions will be made.

Looking forward to welcoming you back at the Hotel Regina

Sincerely Yours,

For 380€ per night for a single room without breakfast quite a heavy price
Great location, friendly staff, but much too expansive for a tiny room in the attic. Location is great, everything in Paris can be reached by foot

Dear Guest,

Thank you for this review in which you kindly distinguish the service provided by our team as well as our perfect central & convenient location.

We are sorry to learn that you found our Superior room too small, curiously enough the comment we hear frequently is that our rooms have a fair size for Paris. For your next stay, we would highly recommend you to try our spacious Deluxe room or Suites; some of them have beautiful views over the Louvre musuem or Eiffel Tower.

June is one of the busiest month and, as per all other competitors hotels, our prices vary according to the season and events in Paris. According to the dates and periods you can easily find different attractive rates and special offers on our new website.

We sincerely hope that we will have the pleasure to welcome you back to the Hotel Regina.

Kindest Regards,

Hotel Regina

If you want to be close to a lot of Paris' main attractions, the location of Regina Hotel is fabulous. The Louvre and Tuileries are right across the street, and even the Arc and Eiffel Tour are within reasonable walking distance (several miles). I was in a deluxe room on the 5th floor and had a fabulous view of the sites -- really magical. The room was also huge by Paris standards, and the hotel public spaces had the charm of an older hotel.

However, I would not return here due to service snafus. I had 4 issues during my 4 night stay: 1) Wifi down one night. I understand that internet connectivity is down at times, but the way the front desk staff handled it was really poor. I was trying to figure out if it was a problem with my machine and she insisted it was, but couldn't give me any help b/c their "wifi system is new" and they "haven't written up directions yet". She insisted that no one else was having problems, didn't do anything to check on the server or router, and was generally abrupt and rude. And, in the end, there was a system-wide problem. 2) I mis-typed the code in my safe one day and needed the hotel to clear it. When I called down, I was told someone would be sent up. 90 minutes later, no one had come. When I went down and spoke to front desk staff, I was told it would take two technicians a very long time, and they didn't know when they'd be able to do it. Later that day, I finally got them to send one technician up, and it took him 3 minutes. In the meantime, I had been waiting to access my stored extra cash for 6 hours.

3) Housekeeping took all the lightly used bars of soap out of my room one day and left no replacements.

4) There was a staff person out front who helped hail cabs. I was traveling with a party of 3 and quite a bit of film equipment, so we generally needed mini-van cabs. On our last day, the staff person hailed one for us, but was irritated with the cab driver because of where he pulled in. So he hailed a much smaller one for us. So we have two cabs in front of us -- one where we'll comfortably fit, and one where it's going to be a real struggle -- and when we said we wanted the mini-van, he snapped at us "This is my job" and insisted we take the smaller one. He was rude and let his own tiff with the first cab driver guide his decision, instead of what would have been best for hotel guests.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend the hotel when there are so many other choices in Paris.

Room Tip: Splurge for a deluxe room with views of the Eiffel Tower.

My husband and I stayed a week here and have been extremely happy. The rooms, whilst not big are plenty large enough for 2 people and two suitcases which is a rarity in Paris. All the staff were great and the location is the best. Walk across the road to Tuileries Gardens and the Louvre. Can't ask for better than that. We had a nice window looking out over the courtyard and even though it rained a few days we were able to get around very well. Bus stop is just yards away, and only a 4 minute walk to the station for trains that can take you every where. Would definitely recommend but would agree with others that the bar is Very Overpriced !

The hotel is amazingly located, close to the river, the Louvre museum and Musse d'Orsay.
The room we stayed in was a bit small, but ok for France. We had a nice small patio with a wonderful view of the Tuleries Gardens and the Eiffel Tower.
The bathroom was fine, we would be happier is there was a better shower, but it was ok. Nice towels.
The service was great: they helped us finding restaurants and giving directions, always nice and helpful. The room was clean, quiet even though the hotel is in a busy street.
We were there to celebrate our 16th anniversary and could definetly recommend the hotel.
The only thing was the bed: nice, confortable but a little small (my husband is 174 cm heigh and his feet were just at the end of the bed. Other than that our stay was superb.

They say location is everything and Hotel Regina is perfectly located. Easily walkable to many of the major attractions. If possible book a room with a view of the Eiffel Tower and be sure to be awed by the nightly light show.
The entire front desk staff were friendly and welcoming. All concierges were extremly helpful in making suggestions, reservations and fulfilling any needs and requests. All services were performed with outstanding efficiency and professionalism.
If it is a special occasion be sure to mention it and if possible purchase the Romance package. All the treats champagne, chocolates, candy, candles and rose petals are worth it.

Room Tip: request and get a room with view of Eiffel Tower you will not regret it.
