Excellent location, service, staff. Very central in Paris, this is a location that is very easy to get around all of Paris in reality. The hotel, albeit nearly 200 years, is very well equipped, and good standard. Because of the age, the hotel cannot really be compared with for example IC Park Lane, London, IC Dubai or IC Abu Dhabi. Excellent service, friendly staff (this is Paris remember).

The Hotel is situated near the Opera metro station in Paris which makes it easy to access all of paris via the Metro system.

The hotel itself is fantastic, it’s large and opulent giving it a very grand feel. The reception area is spacious and welcoming and leads into the most amazing glass ceilinged area for drinks, afternoon tea or just relaxing. The rooms are a very good size, we had 3 small balconies in our room and bathroom, which gave us great views of Paris and the Eiffel Tower.

The hotel is not cheap but it is worth the money that you do pay. If you wan to treat yourself to a few nights in a very nice hotel in the romantic city of Paris then it’s a great choice

We just returned from a six night stay at this property. There is a direct shuttle from the airport for only ten Euros a person that drops you across the street (I emailed the concierge in advance for options). Upon arrival, our room wasn't ready (we arrived at 9:00 am) but they stored our luggage for us. When we returned to the hotel that evening, our room was ready and our luggage was waiting in the room . When we arrived in the room, we were happy. It was small, but very nice for Europe. We were shocked when we went out on our balcony and had a view of the Eiffel Tower.
During our stay, the Concierge was amazing. They helped my husband arrange a flower delivery as well as a dessert (complimentary) for my birthday.
The location of the hotel was wonderful- steps from the Metro, from Galleries Lafayette and many restaurants.
We only ate at the restaurant in the hotel once- it was VERY expensive and not worth the money.
We would definitely stay here again!

This is the second time I have stayed this hotel and I had check in issues the first time. As a result, I called from the airport to let them know I would be arriving around noon and would appreciate accessing my room at that time. The front desk clerk advised me that the room was vacant the night before so it should not be a problem and that she would double check with housekeeping to be sure the room was ready. When I arrived I was told that there were mechanical issues with the bathroom and that they would be fixed in 15 minutes or so. After 2 more inquiries and 45 minutes I was told by another front desk clerk that the room was not cleaned yet and I was assigned another room.
I am an Ambassador Club member and the promised amenities were not in the room (mineral water, etc.). I called and they delivered them within the hour; however the next day I had to call again for the mineral water in the middle of the afternoon because it had not been put in the room again.

We stayed here for business and found the rooms comfortable, the staff very accomodating, and loved the historical architecture. The location is perfect for shopping. My son loved the room service.The conceirge was very helpful.

Stayed in this hotel several times with work, it’s a beautiful hotel, lovely surroundings. This time there was something new, something I thought was a brilliant addition. I travel a lot and I can’t understand why this isn’t in all hotels…They had an iPad with their own hotel app that allowed you to check all sorts of information and leave comments as an alternative to calling the front desk. You couldn’t click out of the app and use the iPad normally but I guess that is to stop kid’s clogging it up with Facebook. Such a clever idea! I look forward to seeing this kind of technology in other hotels in the future.

We LOVED LOVED LOVED every minute of the InterContinental Paris Le Grand. We got married on May 4th & spent the first part of our honeymoon in London & then took the train to Paris for the remainder of the time. We spent 5 nights at the InterContintal Paris Le Grand and have not one complaint. When we first arrived they had a special line for Ambassador Check in (which we are). Our room was not quite ready when we arrived so we were presented with vouchers for a free drink at the bar, which was great considering the bar menu was a bit pricey for us. While we were having drinks the employee for the Ambassador Check in brought our room key to us, and let us know our luggage was already in our room. Upon entering our room we realized we had a room with two balconies and an effiel tower view ... which was fantastic, considering we stayed 100% on points. We had a welcome note wishing us a great honeymoon, several bottles of water, cookies & other delish treats, as well as a bottle of champagne. It was a great start to our trip in Paris. The rooms were quiet & decent size for the city. The decor was very Paris. The service was absolutley fantastic. The batteries in the TV remote went dead so we called & they sent an entire team up to change the batteries before we could even hang up the phone. We ordered a pizza in one night and I needed a fork, so my husband went downstairs and asked the gentelmen at the front desk where he could find one. He seemed somewhat upset that he came downstairs for a fork and told him to go back to our room, seconds later someone arrived with a full tray with dishes, silverwear, salt/pepper, napkins, etc. Then they showed up with another complimentary bottle of champagne & another letter thanking us for chosing their hotel & that they hope we are stil enjoying our honeymoon. They also told us to hurry up and go outside on our balcony b/c the lights were about to twinkle on the effiel tower (We did not know it did that) How nice is that? There was one concierge in particular who was absolutley fabulous. He helped us with anything and everything. He helped us make dinner reservations, gave us pointers about different places, etc. We took the train to Château de Versailles one day & another day we went to Moet & Chandon and they were great at helping us with train info, etc. I had emailed them before we arrived and asked for non timed tickets to the Louvre & Orsay. They had them waiting for me in an envelope at the desk. This was a HUGE help and I would def do this if you are planning a trip. We did not have to wait in line at either place & did not have to go at a certain time. The lines were forever long & we did not have to wait in them! Everytime we needed a taxi that took credit cards (not just cash) the gentelmen out front helped find us the right taxi and pointed us in the right direction every time. The LOCATION of this hotel is Fantastic!!! It is within walking distance of the Opera, Notre Dam, musse de Louvre, musse de Orsay, and many other fantastic places. Only a cab ride away (or a bit of a walk) to the effiel tower, Arc de Triomphe, etc (Take a taxi to those, it is only $5 or so) ... We would recommend this hotel to absolutley EVERYONE & wish we could go back sooner rather than later!!
