My family and I stayed here for a trip to Paris and it was just fabulous! The rooms were of large size with a nice size bathroom! The French doors open up to a small balcony that I didn't want to leave! The rooms were very nice, very clean and very comfortable! The staff also could not have been any better...whatever we need they got done for us! The breakfast was also Great with plenty to choose from! We took taxi's but also took the metro since there was a stop right across from the hotel ! Also there are restaurants very close by which were wonderful to sit, eat and watch everyone pass by! We would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel has neither traditional charm nor the latest modern conveniences. The location at Rue du Bac and Boulevard St. Germain is excellent for boutique shopping and local restaurants and a block from a small market. It's right at a Metro station, but on the mildly inconvenient line 12, and not near any of the more interesting tourist areas.

Our room was good-sized with limited storage. Desk and nighttables have no drawers but there is modest closet space and shelves in the bathroom, which has one sink and a combo shower-tub. We had asked for a room with view (rare in Paris) and got the fifth floor, but views beyond the next building are only from the 6th and 7th.

The breakfast is a decent continental spread plus scrambled eggs, sausage and bacon. Americans will find the selection limited and boring, and will be stunned by the 29 euro price tag, so get a breakfast-included rate or eat elsewhere. Omelettes and such are available for a surcharge, though I only found that out the second time I asked. A takeaway box breakfast is available for early departures.

The hotel offers two free internet terminals in the lobby, and free wi-fi and wired internet in the room, but only one available outlet, by the desk. When I asked for a three-way 220v adapter, on returning from lunch I was presented with a brand-new one.

Poor marks for tourist support. No booklets in the room and just a small rack of tour pamphlets at the front desk. The first time we asked about events, the clerk told us to look on the Internet! Pure Parisian attitude at its worst! Asking again a few days later, we were given a magazine in English with lots of interesting weekend events. But by then it was Sunday night and we'd missed them all.

But that was typical for the front desk. On our last night I wanted to pay the bill. The first clerk insisted that since the last night hadn't been charged yet, I would have to take "just a few minutes" (at 6 am) and pay on our way out. After some back and forth, the second clerk came over and straightened him out.

The place would be OK if not for the staff, which is either ill-informed or unwilling to inform.

Service was wonderful. They were always so helpful with dinner reservations. Room was large, the bed was comfortable and room was always clean. The location was perfect. The hotel is a short walk to just about everything. There is a metro stop literally out the front door. The breakfast was excellent, as was the staff.

From the minute we first walked in the service was wonderful. They were always so helpful whether with a reservation, cab, or recommendation.
Room was larger than other Paris hotels we have stayed at and was plenty big for the two of us. The bed was comfortable and room was always cleaned when we returned so timing was well done. Bathroom was small was only downside. We got used to it by the 2nd day but was still small.
The bar was fantastic as Jonas was a great bartender and nice and friendly. The MAC group that was there were extremely friendly and pleasant and made us want to come back for the next Fashion Week.
Location was probably the best yet for us as easy walk to several key areas but your not in the tourist mob scene.
Definitely worth checking out.

We spent a week at this hotel on our first ever trip to Paris.

First off, the location cannot be beat. This hotel is conveniently close to pretty much everything. It is walking distance to the d'Orsay Musuem, Louvre, River Seine, Eiffel Tower, metro and bus stops, coffee shops, bakeries, pastry shops, pharmacy, grocery stores, the Bon Marche shopping complex, etc.

There is even a small gas station with a convenience store right next door. The convenience store was excellent for getting cheap bottled water and wine. We were looking for distilled water and it even had that!

Our room overlooked boulevard Raspail and was a decent size (for Paris), and had a very comfortable king size bed. The bathroom was very nice as well.

The breakfast buffet was included with our room rate and it was very good with a wide variety of foods to choose from including meats, cheeses, eggs, sausage, bacon, breads, pastries, cereals, fruit, juices, and even champagne.

The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly, some were noticeably more helpful and friendlier than others.

We would not hesitate to stay here again for the location and the comfort of the rooms. This hotel is by no means a cheap place to stay, but it was understandable given its central location in the extraordinary city of Paris. We used our British Airways travel points which helped to mitigate the cost.

My wife and I spent a week at the K & K Cayre and it was our best hotel stay ever. The staff was helpful, friendly and professional from the front desk to the maids, door-men etc. The breakfast was nice everyday, as was the staff serving us. The entire hotel was clean, quiet and a pleasure to use. The free wifi worked well, and there were computers/printer downstairs if needed.

bed was very comfortable, fridge was well stocked, and bathroom was immaculate and well-equipped.

Highly recommended.........
