You can get a better room at the hostel walls are thin so you hear the screaming kids up and down the hall. Like the others have said the hotel has not been updated since it was built. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful but do not use them to book any excursions with France tourism or use that organization. The hotel will push booking multiple trips including meal do not get sucked in. Example I just took a trip to st Michael another one will be the chateaux de la Loire. The trip to saint Michael was 14 hours all together approximately 2 hours at site I made the mistake of doing the meal which took an hour by itself. The food was the worst I have ever had, durian is better. When I returned a girl took the train for less money and had more time at site with less travel.

The only reason for staying here is to appreciate how good other hotels are. In a great location but old and tired. Wifi advertised but did not work. Photos on their website bear no relation to what you get. Ok if all you want is a basic room for a night.

This hotel is in a very central location and is near one of the main metro stations. We found all the staff to be very friendly. Our breakfast was included and had all the usual things like croissants, baguettes, meat, cheese, fruit, cereal etc. Breakfast is served in an underground room with an arched stone ceiling which was really very attractive and was accompanied by classical music playing in the background which was nice and peaceful. Our room on the 4th floor was a decent size (have stayed in much smaller in Paris) and looked out on the rue de Rivoli. The air conditioning worked fine. The lift is absolutely tiny but does hold two people and 2 suitcases There was a sitting room on the first floor. Wi-fi was a bit slow but was ok. There is a small supermarket just along the street called Monop which has quite a good selection and is open to midnight. I would definitely stay here again..

Being close to the Marais district, there were plenty of cafes to sit in and watch the passing parade,on a Sunday.Metro station(hotel de ville) very close and walking distance from the pompidou centre and the islands in the Seine.Small but comfortable rooms.Tiny lift and reception area.Although there is a sitting room if you need some space to sit and read.We had a room at the back,on the 3rd floor ,which was very quiet.Friendly staff. We didn't eat at the Hotel as we found plenty of places to grab a bite as we wandered around the beautiful city.Even in Winter.

This hotel is well located in a nice part of the centre of Paris.
No breakfast included, costs 13 euro, but enough lunch rooms in the area.
The room and shower are a bit small, but the bed was nice.

a group of us stayed here booked 3 rooms, unhelpful staff, wifi does not work, rooms are incredibally cramped and over exaggerated on the internet, the cloakroom for storing your bags is a broom cupboard and is unsafe
the bathrooms were tiny paint and plaster was peeling off the walls the rooms were very cramped with very little space to walk about
stay away

Room Tip: the location is good, but that is all about this hotel

Do not book this hotel if you are expecting an 'Executive' room.

My Exec room was just big enough to contain a double bed and tatty old (not 'cool/antique' old) desk and chair. The carpet looked like it needed a good clean too.

The hotel isn't bad. Its location is good. The bed and bathroom were clean (which is generally my main concern).

The hotel itself is overdue a reburb (the pics they show are not representative of what is actually on offer).

Overall. A let down.

Room Tip: No such thing as 'Exec' room.
