First trip to Paris and both of us were very satisfied with this hotel. The staff is extremely friendly and very helpful. The location is great because the hotel is across the street from the Tuileries Gardens and a short walk from the Louvre. It is also a few steps from the No. 1 (Yellow) Metro line (Tuileries Station). We had an inside room that opened to a roof top courtyard (see the picture I uploaded). This may sound silly, but after a long day of sight seeing it was fun to look out on this with our feet up on the window sill while enjoying a bottle of vin rouge. It's hard for me to comment on the value because I used United MileagePlus points: 31,225/night which included breakfast. No idea what that is in dollars.

Room Tip: We like room 14. Quite and cozy, plus a view of a cute little roof-top courtyard.

Within walking distance of a lot of the sights, great cafes and shopping nearby. The prices in the minibar were comparable to the stores, so that was a welcome change! We had a street side room, and although noisy, we enjoyed the noises, the fresh air and the views. Diana at the desk was great and very helpful. Breakfast was nice, and we fell in love with the egg cooker. They made all of the arrangements for transfers, confirmations, etc. And that elevator - what a kick!

We travelled to Paris via Eurostar from London with our 6 year old grandson after a wonderful 2 week holiday in Britain. Since he was 3 years old he's been talking about the Mona Lisa and the Eiffel Tower, and lately the gargoyles at Notre Dame Cathedral. A short visit to Paris with him had been in the making for the last 2 years. I searched for a nice hotel near the Jardins des Tuileries and the Louvre, and via Trip Advisor came upon this little gem, perfect for our needs. A short 15 Euro taxi drive from Gare du Nord amidst lots of lunchtime traffic and we were there. Room 22 on the second floor with 2 single beds and a fold out single armchair is very spacious, more than I expected from reviews, with windows to Av. Saint-Roch. There was no noise from traffic or public. A large modern bathroom with 2 bath robes, a safe and free WiFi (these two are important to me) were all good. Diana and Ari at reception very helpful and pleasant. Our rate included breakfast, which was very adequate and staff courteous. Our grandson loved the old lift and had fun going up and down and my husband made two trips with our abundant luggage which was no problem. It was a very easy walk to the Louvre, across the Pont du Carrousel and on to Left Bank, also around Rue St. Honore, and to Place de la Concorde. We used the batobus and the Open Tour bus to get on and get off at all the required stops, and on our final evening, we took the RER C (Metro Line 6) from Champ de Mars to Musee d'Orsay, crossed over Pont Royal and back to our hotel. Having read many excellent articles on "Paris with Children", every afternoon we took our grandson to the playground, the Carrousel and the trampolines at the Jardins des Tuileries, where he expended his energy and he loved it, especially the trampolines! I was very disappointed that the ponies were not taken there this summer. We found the Mini Carrefours around the corner from the hotel very useful, especially since our grandson eats very little. We booked a Paris Shuttle to pick us up at 6am to take us to CDG Airport on the morning of departure. We stayed 3 nights at the Louvre Montana.

The only thing that did not work properly was our air conditioning and it was hot in Paris last week. It is by no means a luxury hotel and the rooms can do with refurbishing, but we knew this and for us the most important thing was location and that it was clean, which is what we got. This is our third trip to Paris and we know there is still so much we have not seen. Should we have the chance to visit again, we will certainly consider staying at this hotel.

This is the second time I have stayed in this hotel and will definitely stay there again. It's walking distance to ALOT of sights and steps from the metro. There are many cafes in the area and a monoprix department store around the corner that sell fruit, pastries, wine etc... There is also a safe and fridge in the room. The rooms are very clean and we were on the top floor with a juliette balcony facing the street (nice view). And free WIFI!!! The hotel staff is friendly and helpful. And I love the old elevator!

Room Tip: We were in room # 66. Juliette balcony with nice view facing the street. Not noisy at night.

I would highly reccomend. We were situated right near the lourve and could walk to everything except to effiel tower (about a 40 min walk). It felt safe to walk around in the night. The staff speak English and were helpful.

Rooms were small but cute, ours had a small balcony, mini bar and air conditioning. Rooms were also really clean.

We would come back for sure.

Second stay in this little hotel on the right bank - both times in the same triple room. Great room with two sets of french doors out onto our balcony. Cleanliness is very important to me and I had no problems with this room! Bed was comfortable with white crisp sheets. Room had flat screen t.v., free wifi, safe and fridge. Location was fabulous. So many tourist attractions within walking distance - too many to mention. Lots of restaurants behind the hotel on and around Rue St. Honoure. There is also a Monoprix dep't store on the Avenue of the Opera street behind the hotel that sells groceries, wine and toiletries. Fresh fruit, large bottles of water are downstairs at the back of the store. Fresh pastries made every day also. We shopped here for bottles of water, fruit and little snacks to take with us on our day trips. The Louvre is across the street and down about half a block from the hotel. There is a post office in the Louvre carousel - buy your stamps and mail your postcards here! The Jardin de Tulleries is across the street from the hotel - perfect for strolling at night, having dinner, or eating an ice cream after a long day of sight seeing.

The hotel staff was very friendly and accomodating. Kudos to Diana and Ari for all your help.Really a great little hotel in a fabulous location! n We will be back.

Room Tip: You want to face the street (the Rue St. Roch). Apparently there are rooms that have a view of some...

Just spent 2 nights at the hotel, and very nice it was. The hotel is very well located , and perfect as a base for seeing most of the major sites of Paris. We found the hotel comfortable, and the staff excellent, our room was spacious with all you could need after a long day sightseeing. The lift is a thing of beauty in its own right, it is just big enough for 2 persons with small luggage and is not something you experience very day and is a positive feature of the hotel. The helpful staff also made our stay very enjoyable , nothing was too much trouble , along with helpful tips on how to get the most out of our break. ( special thanks to Diana for all her advice) .
One thing to be aware of is that breakfast is not included, the current charge is an extra 16 euros pp, which is very similar to what you might pay at a local cafe for a fixed price breakfast of coffee , juice, pastry and eggs. On average a coffee is between 4&5 euros, with croissants at 2.50 euros.
If you are thinking of a well located hotel in Paris at a fair price, then this is the place to choose. Merci.......

Room Tip: Room 52 has a balcony with views of the park to the left and sacre coure in the distance to the righ...
