We stayed here in April 2013 to celebrate my parents in law's golden wedding with six adults, two teens and one child. We had all four bedrooms and this worked fantastically. The rooms are on a separate floor to the owners and you have to climb some stairs or take the lift in the morning for breakfast. Despite being on a busy boulevard we found the double glazing meant the rooms were very peaceful. All were beautifully designed with fabulous bathrooms, bottled water and lollipops for the kids. Lots of information on things to do and the host Philippe made some great restaurant recommendations and gave us the best transport suggestions (often buses instead of metro) to get to the places we wanted to get to. He is a great character and speaks good English - his wife is fluent. The breakfasts were delicious. I'm not sure I can find fault with anything. the 17th arondissement is a lovely untouristy area with good restaurants and bars but easy to get to other parts of Paris. We walked to L'Arc de Triomphe and Montmartre quite easily.
