This macaroons are delicious, they melt in your mouth, the flavors are rich. I had pistachio, chocolate, rose, and jasmine. They were all great, I can't even decide which was the best because they all were, specially A LOT better than Laduree. I wish they would ship to the US! Don't skip this whenever in Paris. Is a must!

forget bouchon, forget laduree, HELLO Pierre Herme -- i have fallen in love with Pierre Herme's macarons.

i bought 3 because they are a bit pricey. I got:
MOSAÏC - Pistachio, Ceylon Cinnamon & Morello Cherries
MOGADOR - Milk Chocolate & Passion Fruit
INFINIMENT JASMIN - Jasmine Flower & Jasmine Thea

all of them tasted heavenly. The Jasmine was so light but you can taste the jasmine flavor, it's like you're drinking jasmine tea.
The passionfruit one was good, very strong passionfruit. I often have macaron with passionfruit but it's always not strong enough. However out of the three macrons, i liked this one the least, perhaps it's cuz it was the least unique.
The mosaic was very good, that pistachio and cinnamon was just wow. the cinnamon didn't overpower other flavors, it was just right.

the cookies were perfect, they weren't crumbly. and the ratio of the cookie and the filling was just right. Overall these macarons were not overly sweet and each flavor does taste like what they are called. I've been to places were the flavor doesn't taste the same as what they're called.

The flavors here are more tasty than the ones in Laduree. Some of the flavors found in laduree are just too weird. I would recommend people to buy a macaron from Laduree and another from from here and compare which one is better.

This location is so close to the Westin where we stayed at during our trip that we came here everyday for our daily dose of macarons. Thanks to my husband who agreed to get dragged along to Pierre Herme everyday. But hey, even he ended up loving PH macarons.Pierre Herme is the god of macarons and the macarons were the best I've had. They were so delicate and beautiful. The employee told us that the flavors rotate according to the season. In addition to the seasonal flavors, there is a special flavor every month. We were in Paris at the end of Aug and beginning of Sept so we got to try the August-only and September-only flavors, as well as the seasonal summer-only flavors.

Note that this location does not have pastries (croissants, cakes). They carry mainly macarons and chocolates.

The macarons were very nice, however they had melted slightly in the bag after a hot bus ride home! Best to be eaten straight away. The server was very friendly and he patiently told us what each of the macaron flavours were. Slightly overpriced but that is expected for what they are!
