I'm not much of a macaron fan but just had to try Laduree and Pierre Herme's. No comparison, Pierre makes the best! Delicately crisp outside and deliciously creamy filling. Not to mention how beautiful they are. The unusual flavors combinations and the presentations are so worth the price. Way better than cupcakes!

I tried the chocolat/foie gras with trepidation but it was delicious! Also, it was so gorgeous. An ombre of maroon and rich brown with a bronze sheen. The richness of the foie just created a decadent ganache like filling. Was not gamey at all. The seemingly small size of the macaron is perfect for its decadence.

You know when you taste something so utterly unique and undescribably good, it doesn't matter how much it costs as long as you can afford it. That's the case with Pierre Hermé's delicacies! It was worth every euro cent!!

So fresh and delicious; the attention to detail and science behind these edible creations is a work of art.

We had made an online order before going, and the service was prompt and correct.
Among the things we tried, the Ispahan croissants are a must try in any order, it won't hurt at all, they are so good and very affordable and you can take them to have later when you're hungry after all that Paris walking :)
I'd visit Paris again just for Pierre Hermé!!

I tried a macaroon each day in Paris- 4th day was Pierre Herme and the best! Creme brûlée a must. I guess there are tons of locations, so shouldn't be hard to taste

delicious macaroons, we chose a box of 7 for 17 euros and the flavours were amazing, would definitely recommend, although they are a little pricey

We stayed at the Hotel Castille on the same street and decided to walk in since we passed this location daily walking to and from the hotel. We picked up some macarons, caramels and jams to take with us back home. The two young ladies behind the counter were extremely helpful and patient as we had quite a few questions. They seemed to have more exotic flavors when it comes to the macarons then Laduree. Overall the macarons, jam (we purchased two: fig and apricot) and caramels were very good.
