“Really fresh food and great quality!”
Reviewed June 16, 2012

My husband and I ate here twice on our trip in Paris, and loved it both times! The food was so fresh (highly recommend the bruschetta) and so tasty. We had excellent service, and everyone was very kind to us. Our waiters spoke wonderful english and went through the menu for us so we could understand better! I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting near the Basilica!

“Lose yourself in the bustle and revel in fresh food”
Reviewed May 20, 2012

We were staying nearby this restaurant in the Montmartre-Sacre Coeur area and once we found it we just kept going back to it.

As its name suggests, it is a Mediterranean-style trattoria with a lot of small tables packed in, inside and outside where the smokers congregate, busy, with a constant flow of people. This might sound repellant to people who like to dine in a nice calm atmosphere, but I tell you, the food was so fresh and good, everything made up fresh when you order it, that after a while we started to enjoy the show along with the great food.

The menu is the same for lunch and dinner, so for lunch we usually had salads and pastas and for dinner grilled meat or seafood, a flask or two of robust Sardinian or Sicilian red wine, or for variety a nice chilled Venetian or Tuscan white wine. Everything was the same high quality of freshness. Prices very moderate.

I have to make special mention of the dessert panacotta which is so often just a rubbery, tasteless waste of money and dessert experience. The panacotta at Corso, was light, delicately flavored and trembled sensuously on the plate in its raspberry coulis. Perfection.

Staff were nice and food was lovely. Didn't understand a word on the menu but what I ordered was lovely. Atmosphere very relaxed. Thumbs up from me.
