My husband and I highly recommend John Paul's Latin Quarter tour. He is incredibly knowledgeable and we really enjoyed learning more about the Latin Quarter area and the history there - a lot of which, we would've probably missed out had it not been for him. Also the food was absolutely amazing. We started off learning about the Basque region with some amazing wine and charcuterie. After we walked around the area for a bit to see some sights before having a terrific lunch followed by a few more sights. We were so happy we did this at the beginning of our trip because not only did we have a better idea of what dishes to pick, he also gave us some excellent restaurant recommendations and we enjoyed every single one. We look forward to doing his taste of Montmarte tour on our next trip to Paris!

John-Paul was a great resource in showing us around Paris while we ate and drank lovely wines. I'd highly recommend him to anyone. Also he was a great resource upon planning our trip making recommendations. Forever grateful!

We booked our tour last minute and were delighted to find we had John Paul all to ourselves! I already loved Montmarte but we were taken to exactly the kind of places I was hoping for. Great food, excellent wine and wonderful locals who seemed genuinely happy to meet us! Which is a big deal when travelling to feel something genuine among all the tourist traps. It felt as though we had spent the day with a friend enjoying great food wine and stories. I have dreamed about that pâté at the first stop since I have returned back to Australia, Alas no luck so far! He also walked us out of the way to show me the sights from my fav movie Amelie and the cafe she worked at, we went there for dinner that night and cracked a few creme brûlées!

John Paul's choices of places to eat that provide an authentic 'taste' of Montmarte and its accompanying history is highly enjoyable. His understanding of French cuisine from the area and other provinces is encyclopaedic but his share of the experience is relaxed and not in any way pretentious. JP Just loves what he does and his enthusiasm is infectious. His history lessons along the way between courses are full of stories of the famous artists who lived in the area and all of this history is part of the good wine and food that is shared.....great value and we recommend it to any foodies.

We were last minute participants but John-Paul accommodated us graciously on this small personalised tour on a bleak Paris day. The group.of 4 ventured into the lesser known eateries and sights of Montmatre. It's great to be shown local points of historical significance that we would have missed going it alone. We visited three local eateries, learned about regional food and wine, and met with the owners, many whose families who have been running their businesses for generations. It was a special few hours enjoying the company of both John-Paul, whose passion for this area was infectious, and new friends from the USA. The tour ended with a commitment from our host to stay connected to answer any questions about the areas we visited or any other questions that we may have during our stay. He was true to his word and we visited other cafes off the tourist trail that were great value for money and full of locals to mingle with. A fabulous mix of local knowledge, food and wine.
