This restaurant is more in line with what you would expect at an American fine dining location. A large restaurant, tables far enough apart to have some privacy, formal service. I was disappointed that they were out of ribeye, so settled for pigeon, which was o.k. Every course was very good and simple ingredients were elevated. Our server spoke English well, had a great personality and made an excellent wine reservation. My fish and shellfish allergies were handled well. Would recommend.

Wow! This place is simply outstanding! It raises the bar on Bistro cuisine! Well deserved Michelin Star. Impeccable service, wonderful ambiance, well balanced menu, great wine list and probably the best burger in town! Loved the place! A must visit while in paris!

114 Faubourg is redefining excellence and is setting the standard for other brasseries to follow. We wanted to so much to patron the 3-star Epicure; but due to its unavailability, we settled for 114.

And we weren't disappointed. It was so good that we wished it would never end. To keep this review simple, here is what we ate ...

- Langoustine ravioli

- Duckling fillet
- Blue lobster

Desserts
- Chocolate soufflé
- Mille feuille

The restaurant also threw in complimentary amuse-bouche and a strawberry cake which was a pleasant surprise; and both were out of this world.

Service - Patrice, Alicia et al were fantastic. It was delicate dining with wonderful service that made the entire experience every humane, welcoming and thoroughly enjoyable.

Absolutely superb !

My wife and I are here twice in May: once in the first weeks and then again at month's end. Both times were wonderful, marked by excellent service, attention to detail, and marvelous cuisine.

Most memorable was our last visit where we ordered a wonderful wine suggested by Narcis, to pair with the chef's perfect preparation of steak (for two). The steak was delicious and carved at our table by the maître d'. Smoky, moist and the right temperature: incredible!

Service was great and food was quite good as well. I had the eggs with crab meat as starters and shared the wild duck as a main with my boyfriend. Desserts and petit fours were quite nice. Overall I wouldn't say the meal was exceptional but the quality was alright.

However the next day we both had upset stomachs and I ended up having food poisoning and unable to enjoy my last day in Paris. The duck had to be the culprit as the waitress did ask us if we wanted it well done, but did not mention the risk of having undercooked wild duck. I wouldn't say the restaurant was entirely responsible but it would be nice if they warned us of the risk.
