“Delightful & surprisingly child friendly”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

We took a small apartment in Paris to bring in the New Year 2013. While in town we enjoyed shopping, sightseeing & excellent dining. We phoned Le 114 Fabourg to inquire regarding New Years Eve reservations, but they were booked solid. We decided to visit the evening of December 29. Which was probably much smarter considering we were traveling with our then 18 month old son. The ambiance, staff, food quality & presentation were absolutely divine. They welcomed the three of us. Which cannot be said for many other fine dining establishments in Paris. Our son is not unruly when eating, but many fine dining establishments simply shun the idea of welcoming small children.
Le 114 Fabourg would have been by favorite Paris restaurant, except our Le Cinq experience was like dining with the gids :) they exceeded EVERY expectation that one could ever dream for the perfect dining experience. But for more on that, please see my other review.
We found the maitre d at 114 to be quite charming & helpful with regards to both dinner & wine selections. We desperately wanted an authentically delicious crepe Suzette for dessert and although the in house chef could not prepare one for us the night we visited, he was able to make a nice suggestion. We would absolutely dine here again, no question!

“Very friendly staff, fantastic food”
Reviewed March 8, 2013

We ate here for our wedding anniversary, at the time of booking we asked for a special table and when we arrived the staff led us to a table decorated with rose petals, they couldn't be more helpful - all the staff came and wished us a Happy Anniversary. Both food and wine were excellent, my wife's dessert had been decorated to celebrate the occasion. Would definitely go back and highly recommend for a special occasion as it is expensive - booking recommended, busy even on a Tuesday night

“Fabulous!”
Reviewed March 3, 2013

We had a week of great dining in Paris, but this was my personal favorite. For starters, its in the gorgeous and elegant Hotel Bristol. Be sure to visit the garden courtyard and also the Bristol Bar.114 Fauborg is an interesting blend of classic elegance and a more fresh, contemporary style. The service was friendly and polite but not stuffy. We arrived at 8:00 p.m. and the restaurant was about half full. By 9:00 p.m., the restaurant was full, and it was a very fashionable crowd. The duck pate is truly to die for, and was the most classical of the dishes we sampled.. Very rich---I really didn't need an entree, but I had one anyway. The king crab appetizer was also good----quite light, and perhaps not as memorable as the pate. All dishes were presented beautifully, and (apart from the duck pate), were fairly light and fresh. Desserts were a standout. I really didn't want the evening to end. Everything about the experience---setting/atmosphere, service, tableware, food, wine was beautiful from start to finish.

“A royal Dinner with Friend”
Reviewed February 26, 2013

Wow wow wow, i have to say... Dinner with my friends was amazing and so so yummy. We started of the night at the hotel bar with some drinks and then brought us to our Table. We had with our Tasting Menu a wine pairing which was to die for. To start with a homemade Pate and then an Artichoke soup with Truffle slices. Every other dish was a companied with Truffle. Main Course was the best of the best Chargrilled Cote de Beouf with truffle mash potato... Delish...
I would go their again for sure... Its a real food place to go too.

As it is suggested in most reviews in Tripadvisor we tried their famous pate which was marvelous! If you are in Paris and you want to taste something different just visit it.
