“Great food, not too expensive, packed at noon.”
Reviewed February 1, 2014 via mobile

The owner is very nice and does every effort to make you feel at home. The way they put their tables (2 long parallel rows) takes away your privacy but avoids you getting born when eating on your own.
Food is great, rich with cream and portions are OK.
They're on average 1€/dish cheaper than the nearby Mahatma.
They're Moguls, hence the name, so they do serve beef and prepare delicious Punjab tea.

“Indian restaurant”
Reviewed October 15, 2013

Mogol is the name of the guy working there.. the name is Mughele Azam.. it was a good restaurant but we didn't like the smell of the restaurant when we entered! there was a bad smell, and we just hesitated to have our lunch there.. but as I read good reviews about it on this website, so we ordered.. and the food was good, but I was shy to tell the manager that his restaurant was smelling, and thought will mention it in my review only

“Delicious food at a reasonable price”
Reviewed January 25, 2013

Having been allocated a hotel to stay in for my business trip in rue Caumartin I walked out and immediately spotted an indian restaurant close by. Delighted that it was also halal certified. The food is generally good.

I ordered Daal soup for starter, this was OK a touch on the watery side, the chicken birani was also delicious very generous portions. I also ate here on my second night and had sheekh kebab for starters followed by punjab bonless chicken and naan, very very nice indeed. Food delivered promptly. The mango lassi was OK - nothing special.

On both occasions had to pay cash, as their card device was not working properly which was a little bit of a let down.

“Good spicy indian food with quality service”
Reviewed January 2, 2013

After 3 days in Paris, our craving to have indian food (as indians) begun and searched this restaurant on Trip advisors city guide app while shopping in Auber area. The restaurant is located in a small street so not very good location but is a quick walk from Auber Metro.

The staff was very friendly and owner of the restaurant paid good attention to all customers (only couple of tables full when we were there). We specifically asked to make our food spicy and they did (not very often). The food was good quality & enough quantity also.

I might visit again, if in that neighborhood!
