After a busy day, we loved sitting outside watching the cars, buses, bikes, motor cycles, pedestrians and strollers try to ignore each other as they want to be in the same space. Such fun. Bartenders do a good job of bringing out the large orders at the prime time. We saw an older couple, locals, order salads. Wow, those looked great so we had them too. One of best salads, ever. I had the french onion soup, highly recommended. While they charge a good price, it is really like a cover charge for all the action. Lots of entertainment.

This café was fairly close to our hotel and was the first one we visited on our recent trip. We sat at an outside table along the pavement in Rue de l'Odeon. First thing we needed was a drink - I ordered a coffee with milk, which was €4.80 and hubby ordered a small beer at €4.95.
We then ordered a croquet poulet with frites and shared it - I wasn't very hungry but hubby was quite peckish. It was huge - it's a good job I didn't order one for myself! It was a large slice of bloomer type bread, toasted and topped with tomato, onion, chicken and cheese - and served with a generous portion of chips. Very tasty and only €9.
Hubby then ordered himself a large beer, which cost €8.95.
The waiter was quite friendly and very efficient.
We ended up back here on our last day for a late lunch of pretty much the same thing. The croquet poulet wasn't quite as tasty the second time (I think the onions were missing) but it was still enjoyable.
We would call there again if we were in the vicinity.

We've had their rabbit stew for lunch. It was ok but nothing special. We've had much better in Paris.

Location is nice, sitting outside is a nice view and its actually spacious, which is unusual for a Paris restaurant. Service was ok.
