Just what we wanted from a three-course French meal. We had a marinated cold vegetable entree (peppers and eggplant with a tomato/pesto sauce), flank steak with potatoes au gratin for me and lamb chops for my husband, and moeulleux au chocolat (chocolate lava cake). Fantastic rich food, balanced flavors, and wonderful wine. The service was attentive and warm. Highly recommend.

No fancy dishes but well prepared fresh ingredients, excellent desserts and good & rather affordable wines. Enjoyable "Bistrot ambiance" but welcome could be a bit warmer

We loved this small, wonderful restaurant. Very welcoming. It seems that the dinner menu changes nightly, we had gazpacho and the duck, and everything was superb. If we lived in this neighborhood we would go once a week, very pleasant!

Very very good food and not too expensive. Very good meat and also the desserts are great. A nice armosphere and very friendly people. Must go!

After a few wrong turns we found les botanistes and we weren't disappointed, it certainly lived up to its trip advisor report. Service staff were fantastic nothing was too much to ask, they explained the menu (in English) and mixed different drinks to make sure our whole party was catered for. The food was excellent from start to finish. And they didn't mind our 1 year old crawling all over the restaurant. Will be back when next in Paris.
