“Great french food and very friendly atmosphere”
Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

I was there with my son and we really appreciated the friendly and calme atmospere. The fois gras was splendid. And I can recommend the duck and cod with orange. We ended our nice meal with a really tasty mousse au chocolat - my son took the entire spoon made out of chocolate. Choices on the menu card rather limited, but what we had was very good. Prices in the mid range. Good experience for the money.

“Nice experience but a little bit basic for the price”
Reviewed January 27, 2013 via mobile

We had a good time here. There was a lively atmosphere and the proprietor was very hospitable. The food wasnt bad but a bit basic and the main courses could have been hotter.

“Cozy, fun and not touristy”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

The leek, sesame and poached egg dish is a triumph! We went back again for more. The owner is a riot, fun and friendly and extremely helpful. Female chef in the kitchen. Yummy things coming out. Just an overall nice, cozy place that leaves you with a warm feeling in your tummy.

“Cute place off the main tourisy strip”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

First good sign..no menus in Japanese.
Second good sign..most customers speaking French.
Third good sign relativley small menu..(not trying to do everything)
Most of the courses here are pretty standard French fare, Bisteak, Brulee etc
The salmon and Brie quiche was out of this world as was the Brulee. The owner is very sweet and he is the waiter for the 10 tables in the restaraunt. Very cozy little place..you dont want to leave. We ate there twice during our trip and both meals were very, tasty. His dog lays buy the bar and takes it all in. We adored this little gem.

“Lovely little restaurant”
Reviewed January 5, 2013 via mobile

Went tonight for dinner, was really great. Bit of a mix up meant that the waitress thought we were for 10 people, not two. But then we were easily led to a quieter table in the corner. We sat down and ordered straight away as there is not much on the menu, but this definitely isn't a negative. We were served quickly and it was lovely, I had duck breast as everybody was raving about it on here, and it was delicious. Really filling too, which was nice. My boyfriend had the risotto of the day, which was avec bacon bits and rocket. He said it was really tasty. We then had 2 desserts, creme brûlée and the explosive chocolate mousse! Was great, the creme brûlée excellent. The owner was funny too, a lovely, funny man who makes you feel like you're his friends. Great little place no wouldn't have found it if it wasn't for trip advisor! Just a lovely, homey atmosphere with great food. Go!
