Pousse! Pousse! (grow! grow! in French) is a tiny Vegan/Vegetarian place in a residential neighborhood. The good news is it's close to the Metro (Le Peletier Station). The bad news is it's tiny. But that is quickly overcome by the good food and camaraderie of Lawrence, et al. She is a talented chef who has moved into the raw/vegan/vegetarian market. We found the food quite tasty, although my wife is really the raw/vegan lover, so I don't know exactly what we were eating, but it was good. Several locals came in, and in opposition to the usual Paris stereotype, were quite friendly and we had a great meal with Champagne (it's a health food, in case you didn't know) and good conversation. There's only a handful of places that serve veg food, and this is a good one. No problem with English either. She also has classes. I'll be adding reviews for other health food places, so follow my link if you're looking for this type of restaurant.
