What a big disappointment! it is good, not amazingly good and clearly over priced. The only surprise came at the desert with the lemon mousse, spectacular and delicate.
Does it worth EUR 220 each for a 4 tapas-meal (portion are small)?? No.
Packed of tourists and you just have the impression of being at a bar in an hotel somewhere in the world. The food is french, the atmosphere is common. This is not what I am expecting in Paris.

We chose to have lunch after our visit to the Musee D'Orsay. What a magnificent pairing of art and food. The appetizers and the main courses were Formidable. The setting, an u shaped gastropub bar and several tables was modernistic in black and red tones. We had one of the best meals in Paris. The wine list est tres Cher. Be ready to pay for the exquisite meal and service. It's a must eat experience. We were a party of eight. 350 euros per couple, including two wine bottles.

preparing myself for a meeting at loui vuitton headquarters in Paris. we decided for a mindsetting dinner at joel robuchon restaurant l'atelier at 133 champs-elysees.
this unforgettable dinner was one of such ocasions to learn about french cuisine as a sophisticated and demanding art. I can state with obsolute certainty that I got the best puree of my gastronomic life..
joel Robuchon made an art out of preparing this puree based on an unorthodox culinary move using a Potato type called Ratte, which usually is baked or lightly coocked with herbs. here joel also uses a fine butter " le beurre de baratte" made at jean ives bordier town. the result its divine, velvet consistent and taste rich puree. the best I had ever.
my friend and me started with a foie gra and grilles or crosstini, then to the main dishes: black code fish with greens and myself a lovely fillet with pepper crust both with the divine Robuchon puree.
we smoothed up with a beaujolais wine and finalized with an asorted multi taste sorbet langer dish... an unforgettable dinner. the price? unforgettable too. this restaurant its a must by all means.

Having dined here in June, we decided to revisit as we had a fabulous meal last time. Well, this time we ordered from the Carte (first visit was the Seasonal Menus at a whopping 175Euro per person!) and were not disappointed. The same staff served us as last time, and the service was absolutely superb. This is a restaurant where the food is also a star--imagine a 2 Michelin star restaurant where the chef has found a way to integrate Oreo cookies into a magnificent chocolate dessert (the Chocolate Tendance)! The only drawback here is a whopping big bill at the end, even selecting lower priced items! However for an occasional dinner fit for the most demanding of foodies, this is a go-to place. They told us that Atelier will open in New York in 2014 (where we live!) and we can't wait!

First let me say, that finding this place is very difficult the first time you go. It is in the basement of a bookstore, the entrance to which is not exactly on the Champs. Once in, however, you are destined for a fine dining experience. The rooms, in red and black, are a bit austere. I don't really understand the required appeal of sitting at the bar, which is tightly packed. You get the same food at a table in the adjacent room, and it is a spacious one. The wine list is big, but not inventive; hard to find great producers here. The service is a bit of a mess; we ordered two bottles of wine, and the waiter brought the wrong one each time. We also poured most of our own; not a big deal, but not two star service. The food, however, is wonderful; inventive, delicious, balanced flavors, and fair portions for the cost. If you are looking for an all out great dining experience in Paris, you could do better.
