Our family of 4 stayed here for 6 nights. We had 2 connecting rooms. The location of this hotel is their best asset. We were able to walk to most sites (Notre Dame, Louvre, D'Orsey, Army Museum, etc.). This is walking with a 10 and 7 year old. Lots and lots of restaurants nearby. The hotel is one short block from the River Seine, a less than 2 mins walk. We walked to the Latin Quarters for dinner on most nights. Service was friendly at the front desk. The rooms are extremely extremely small. Even with 2 rooms, the 4 of us were very cramped. But being in Paris, we didn't spend much time in the room. The rooms had nice large patio doors that opened up and that was pleasant. We didn't have a balcony but it was fine. Bathrooms are small too but very clean and updated. The room itself was a bit dated. We had breakfast at the hotel on one morning. It was just okay. You can get much better food at cafes around the corner from the hotel looking out at Notre Dame. I would recommend this hotel with its great location. You just have to set your expectation that the rooms are small (but very clean).

These folks really helped us at every step. They were fully booked and we needed twin beds and Fara in housekeeping made it happen for our room. Thank you Fara!. Every person at the front desk was always helpful and courteous as well. Only complain is that the rooms are tiny.... Tips.. Eat and drink at BAM for interesting takes on food. Across from BAM is a pastry shop .... for early croissants.

We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Britannique! Location was great, we walked and took the subway to everything including the airport. There is a subway stop across the street, exit is called Theatre du Chatelet. Very convenient. Our room was small but comfortable. Enough space for my sister and I. We we're on the 6th floor and it was quite quiet, we only heard another door a couple of times during our stay. The staff really went above and beyond for us! We we're able to check a couple rooms out before selecting one as the hotel was not fully booked. Allowing us to use their freezer for water bottles, recommending restaurants, helping with directions, storing some things while we went to Nice for a few days (also highly recommended!)

Overall a wonderful time for our first trip to Paris!

We had a large room with a large ( for Paris) sitting roomWith pull out sofa with bathroom and separate powder room. We are a traveling as a party of four with two children under 10. We were very comfortable. Lovely decor. Our room was street facing and we didn't experience any loud disturbing noise in the evenings. It was a delight to open the French windows and let the sounds of the city in. A perfect location to walk everywhere. The Lourve, Marais, Notre Dame are very close. We would stay again when in Paris. My only complaint would be the front office staff were not as knowledgable on what restaurants were open on certain evening or what cuisine they offered in close proximity to the hotel. Breakfast was nourishing.

I have just come back from a suprise weekend trip to paris and we stayed here, we arrived very late at 12.30 am and there were no problems, straight up to the very nicely decorated cosy room.
I had a birthday package waiting for me on the bed the next afternoon, champagne, chococlates, fuit and a card very nice :) (an extra that was paid for)
When it came to leave we needed help finding a way to the airport that was about an hour away. the nice lady printed of all the information told us what metro to get onto and all the prices, they were all very friendly and helpfull.
We would come back here for sure. the location it GREAT and its a stones throw away from everything you could need.
So very happy with our trip.

A small, elegant hotel centrally situated in a quiet street close to the River Seine, Notre Dame and Chatelet. It located on quiet street, but very close to Louvre and Rivoli street. Metro is close by, easy access from airports too. Good local restaurants.
Well appointed, clean, great decorated rooms, free Wi-Fi, and very comfortable.
Staff speaks Russian.
