Wonderful location, service and staff. Read the history about the place. It will make you smile.:)
The bakery across the street is incredible. The only negative is a very tiny elevator for just 1 person + 1 bag so factor that when you come and go
Enjoy Paris and the Regent's Garden

Room Tip: As lovely as the hotel is, WALK outside and often. Paris was manificent

It is really difficult to write a review of this hotel.... it is good and has many good things, but not a place i would come back to, as it is missing something to make it a truly memorable experience. My expectations were high, as i chose it because it is pne of the top tripadvisor hotels. Here are all the positives: nice quiet location, room ok size (it is Paris, so nice size for Paris), very clean, big shower, eco friendly, excellent service (i speak fluent french so i did not have language issues), free internet, quiet and working aircon, great patisserie and supermarket across the road. Location is not great: the walk to the nearest metro station is at least 10 minutes and uphill. And the design of the hotel is a little disappointing: it tries to be trendy, but it is not. I like boutique hotels with interesting design elements, and i guess i did not find any here. So, this is a very solid, reliable hotel if this is what you are after, just dont expect something memorable.

My husband and I have just returned from our trip to Paris. We've stayed at Best Western Premier Regent's Garden hotel for 5 nights and we really enjoyed this experience. The room was very clean and our bed comfortable. We chose the "superior room" during our reservation and received one with the "street view" upon arrival. Initially, I was concerned, but It turned out to be a very quiet room and we didn't hear the street traffic at all. The hotel is located on the quiet street. Because August days are rather hot in Paris, we had our air conditioning on. It worked very well and it kept the temperature set the way we wanted, in a quiet mode. it was important for me, because I'm a poor sleeper and I don't usually sleep well with either loud air conditioners or with outside noises. I did sleep well there. The hotel has a beautiful garden where we had breakfast on 3 occasions and it consisted of an open buffet with a variety of choices. We enjoyed our mornings there. Right across the street from the hotel there is a wonderful boulangerie and patisserie. Good place to grab a baguette, sandwich or pastries if you want to have a picnic somewhere later on. The staff was very nice and pleasant, willing to assist you with reservations to any local events or shows. The front desk assistants speak English and we were very grateful for that, because (unfortunately) we don't speak any French. The hotel is about 10 minutes walk from the Charles De Gaulle metro station near Arc de Triomphe which makes it a convenient spot to reach different destinations. There is so much to see in Paris that almost every day were returning to our hotel around midnight. The area appears to be safe to walk even late at night and the streets are well lit. We will definitely try to stay in this hotel next time.

Lovely hotel with a stunning garden (great place to relax especially as it’s quiet most of the time). Location is good – not great, whilst it is walking distance to arc de triomphe – it’s quite far from the metro for quick hops between the hotel and sightseeing. (10min walk to nearest station)
Did not have breakfast at the hotel (even though it looked good) – there is a great French bakery right opposite the hotel.

I booked this hotel having little view as what to expect. I was going to expect another cramp, bijoux and dusty hotel room in Paris.

To my surprise, I found a wonderful modern converted villa, luxuriously appointed and in a quiet street in the Etoile region. The hotel was amazing! The bathroom had a high spec and most of all, it was a good sized room where 2 people can easily move around without hindrance. In room Tea/Coffee facilities were available with high quality almond biscuits. Downstairs had a library sitting room and well manicured rear garden, serving as a tranquil oasis in the heart of Paris. The breakfast was also excellent, giving you a choice of a petit coffee and croissant, a continental breakfast or a full breakfast (English, Norwegian, Dutch or American).

The hotel was a short walk away from the Argentine and Ternes metro stops. A Carrefour located on the corner was convenient and which opened late. A wonderful patisserie shop next door was an added treat with freshly baked baguettes and continental patisseries.

Room Tip: Locate a room facing the rear gardens to get a view of tranquility

We selected this hotel based on reviews from Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed! It was our first hotel of 4 that we stayed in over the course of a 2 week stay in France and it was one of my favorites. We arrived a bit early and our room was not quite ready, so we headed out in search of food and to our delight found a very cute boulangerie/patisserie right across the street! The hotel is located in the 17th arrondissement, which is not exactly central but was wonderful for us as we didn't want to be constantly surrounded by tourists, which we found exhausting. There are two metro stations nearby, one of which is connected to all of the major lines and was great. Each station is about an 8 minute walk away from the hotel. I enjoyed our walks as it gave us a chance to soak up the neighborhood a bit. There are some great shops nearby, and many caves, restaurants, and boulangeries. In addition to the boulangerie across the street from the hotel, on the street of the hotel there is a supermarket (very well stocked that came in handy!), a pharmacy, a fromagerie, a chocolate shop, yet another boulangerie (the popular "Paul" chain), and we even found a kosher burger restaurant!

The staff at the hotel are what really stood out and made our experience so enjoyable. They were always welcoming, courteous, and helpful with directions and suggestions. The hotel is small but adorable, with a beautiful garden with tables and chairs in the back. We didn't try the breakfast but it is available for an additional fee. A parking lot is just out front, and I believe it is free (we did not have a car).

The room was a perfect size for us, and had a mini fridge with complementary water bottles and drinks that we enjoyed daily - a very nice touch. We slept very well as the room was facing the street, yet so quiet at night. There was a very cute French window in our room. The bathroom was great, with a large rain shower and bathrobes and slippers. Air conditioning worked very well ( so well that we had to turn it off - it can be controlled - because the weather in Paris was a bit chilly while we were there).

Overall we had a great stay at the Best Western Premier Regent's Garden and would highly recommend it to friends and family.

Recently going to Paris for the first time was so exciting and staying at the Regent's Garden was fabulous. The hotel is so charming and has recently been totally refurbished. Our room had been redecorated in shades of gray and bright pink - beautiful! The history of the hotel and the close proximity to wonderful restaurants, the Arc de Triumph, and shops was perfect. The staff was more than very helpful and kind to us during our stay. I would definitely recommend this hotel as well as stay there again myself upon my return to Paris. RBH

Room Tip: Regent's Garden was about 2 blocks from Metro line 1 (one). Line 1 is the main artery to major...
