Stay here 3 nights recently, single traveler, vacation. Nice location, on side street, in room internet, decent size room(European standard), very efficient front desk. Walking within most major sights.

The breakfast has good variety. Nice having the in room continental breakfast on morning of early departure. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Had corner room, # 308, king size bed, bath tub, and shower, separate room toilet.

We were delighted with this hotel! The room, whilst not over large (you are after all in the centre of one of the most expensive cites in Europe) has all the facilities that you need. Comfortable, firm, Queen sized bed, plenty of hanging/drawer space, an easy to use safe, flat screen TV with 3 English channels, and is well lit. The beautifully tiled bathroom had a bath with a fixed and flexible shower, very large mirror, an illuminated magnifying mirror, hair dyer, heated towel rail, and plenty of toiletries. Both the bedroom and bathroom appeared to have been recently up-dated, and of of high quality.
The cold buffet breakfast is very comprehensive . As with all parts of the hotel, the staff are very efficient, friendly, and speak very good English.
It is in a great location, allowing you to walk to most, if not all the famous attractions.
If returning to Paris, we would NOT look for anywhere else to stay!

Room Tip: Although 50 Mtrs off the Avenue d'Opera, a higher floor (4th-6th)will be less noisy, and a stree...

I'd researched a few hotels on Tripadvisor and was attracted to this one because of the location and the favourable reviews. Both were spot-on. The hotel is in a side street directly off the main L'Avenue d'Opera, meaning it's quiet for a peaceful night's sleep, but instantly accessible for a wander around the local shopping area, cafes etc and very accessible by foot to the Louvre, Tuileries Gardens, the Seine and other attractions. The Opera Metro and Chaussee d'Antin La Fayette Metro stations are also very close when your feet get tired from walking! We even walked from Gare du Nord down rue La Fayette to the hotel - a nice introduction to Paris after sitting for hours on the train! The hotel itself is comfortable, clean and the staff helpful and friendly. I aimed to speak in French as much as possible, but all the reception staff seem to speak good English. The rooms are a fair size, pleasant and the bathrooms modern and power showers etc. Very nice full continental breakfast and not crowded in the dining area at all during our stay (perhaps at peak holiday times?) Locally, we ate at Le Grand Colbert and La Vaudeville restaurants fairly near the hotel, and had good service and delicious meals. Great time in Paris, and would highly recommend this hotel.

The hotel was really well located for all major attractions. The staff speak fantastic English and were wonderfully helpful. The room was a good size and we had two big windows that looked out onto the street below. Free wi-fi and breakfasts.

We had five nights at this hotel in August 2013 and enjoyed it very much. Our room, on the third floor, was quiet and beautifully decorated. It was very clean and tidy and serviced each day to a very good standard. It was spacious for a central Paris hotel and was close to shops, restaurants, Galleries Lafayette, Opera, buses and the metro. The staff were very friendly and helpful and their English was good. The buffet breakfast each morning was a bonus with a good selection - a cooked breakfast was available for an additional charge. It was great being able to get up, eat breakfast and then head off for the day's sightseeing. We would definitely return here and thoroughly recommend this hotel.

This beautiful boutique hotel is located in the heart of the Opera district. This not only makes it easy to locate on the Metro, but it is a safe and wonderful area to explore. The room was available to us immediately upon our arrival. The staff is welcoming, kind and professional. To a person, they were also incredibly helpful. Everyone knew the points of interest; the areas to visit and how to use the Metro to get to where you want to go. The rooms are equipped with a safe, free of charge, which lends an air of complete confidence when leaving your valuables. The rooms are well-appointed, comfortable, clean and include WIFI. The breakfast was unbelievably delicious - first class all the way. The presentation was located in a lovely dining area where you choose amongst a vast array of selections and dine on fine china. There are fresh fruits; meats, cheeses, cereals, croissants and other pastries. Fresh coffee, juices, milk and all the accoutrements which combine to a fantastic and well-fed start to your day. I would recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone traveling to Paris. I cannot wait until we return!

This was our second stay at L'Horset Opera.
A great, traditional Parisien friendly hotel with all the usual essentials - reliable Wi-fi, efficient air conditioning, generous continental breakfast, comfy beds and spotlessly clean rooms.
Staff spoke great English as the guests seemed to be mostly American.
The location is really handy for all the usual tourist sites - if you have the energy (and it's not too hot) we suggest walking everywhere to see this beautiful City.
We were here during the Tour de France and had a fabulous 4 nights.
Loads of places to eat locally - we like the restaurants in Place de Marche St Honore.
