Excellent location, US hotel standards in the midst of downtown Paris. Prices not low, but nothing in Paris is inexpensive. Free internet a real bonus. Many restaurants nearby including French fare and Asian cuisine. Walk to Metro and bus to airport.
The only downside is that in the land of excellent bakery items, the breakfast - included in the overnight - is marginal in quality. Selection of items okay but a 3-star value in a 4-star hotel. Front desk very helpful; Lovely English speaking Parisian women.
I would stay there again and recommend this hotel to friends, especially if not familiar with Paris.

This is a great location for walking to many museums, to famous department stores, good restaurants, and to bus and train stations. We also walked to nearby bus that took us back to Charles de Gaulle Airport. Staff all spoke English, looked up schedules and locations for buses and trains, made dinner reservations, and helped us complete travel plans to other cities in France. Our room was small but more than adequate. Bathroom was very nice. We especially appreciated the breakfast. We stayed 7 nights and thought it was a great place.

My husband booked this hotel for my mother and I blindly and it turned out to be perfect. Conveniently situated between Opera and the Louvre, a quick walk to public/tour bus transportation, to Layayette Galleries for shopping or just to grab a wonderful pastry and coffee in a local pastry shop was easy. The hotel itself had a professional staff and the rooms were perfect - not very large, but are you really going to stay in your room when in Paris? I requested a change of room to include a balcony which the staff accomodated with no problem. The bathroom/shower were clean and with excellent shower pressure. The in-room TV only had CNN and BBC news in English, but, once again, the hotel is truly for getting cleaned up and resting until the next day.
Lastly, the all inclusive breakfast is the only that could use some help since the coffee had been made for a long time and the breakfast staff member would not make more after I asked him politely in English. Interestingly enough, he responded to my request in French, so I assumed he did not understand my request. However, a few minutes later he had a full English conversation with another guest.....interesting, but never made new coffee. Not a huge deal, I guess.
Overall, I would definitely recommend this hotel for the location, cleanliness and comfort!

We just returned from our 6 day trip to Paris. After agonizing over which hotel to stay in before we left, we are so happy that we chose the Best Western L'Horset Opera. It is a lovely hotel with a great location; the best location in Paris, if you ask me.. The staff at the hotel, especially those working in the breakfast room were extremely professional and very friendly. The breakfast buffet (included in the room rate) was great with enough variety of food to satisfy everyone. Breakfast was my favourite part of the day. We absolutely had a wonderful stay and would stay there again in a heartbeat.

This hotel is literally a 4 minute walk to the Opera Metro station. The Paris metro system is very convenient and after one day in Paris, easy to navigate through. We used the metro when we wanted to get to areas of the city very quickly. But our hotel was very central enough that we easily walked back to our hotel from the Louvre and Notre Dame (about 25 to 30 minutes even while walking leisurely and stopping and looking around). Walking was a great way to see the city streets and take in the atmosphere of the city. On our last two days of our trip we took the Open Bus Tour (green bus) whose stop is also conveniently located across the street from our hotel. We took this hop on hop off bus for 2 days. it was 32 Euros each, and well worth it. The bus stops at all the major landmarks and sightseeing areas. We got to see other areas of the city as well, where we probably wouldn't have walked to or taken the metro to on our own.

Overall, we are so happy we chose this hotel. It met all of our expections and the location was fabulous. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I stayed for 3 nights in a room with a double bed at a rate of USD 260++ per night. I won't go into great detail since my comments are repeating what most other reviewers said.

Location was ideal. The room was nicely furnished and decorated and the marble/granite bath was very nice. Outside noise wasn't noticeable and the bed was comfortable. Staff were all very helpful and spoke English. The continental breakfast was perfect and had everything from fruit to meats and cheeses. The lobby bar was great for a before-dinner drink. Wifi included in the rate worked well in the room and lobby areas.

What might people complain about? The price, but for Paris it's really not bad. Second, the rooms are small and would be crowded with two people and luggage. But, I think you'll be in the USD 450 range to get a significantly bigger room in as good a location.

The room was adequate in size, the decor for the hotel was very nice. This hotel was far nicer than any Best Western in the U.S.The location was great, on a quiet street. We walked practically everywhere. We were on a non-smoking floor, which is what I requested with my reservation. The breakfast was more than adequate, and the available time was generous, 7-10:30. The entire staff was very pleasant.

We stayed for 4 nights, and experienced a friendly and service-minded staff, nice room (Paris size), and clean bathroom. Excellent breakfast included, and very close to Louvre, and Metro Opera station. So far the best hotel, value for money, and we would like to stay the next Paris visit.
