We spent a couple of hours here today filing time between checking out of our hotel and Eurostar train. What a lovely park. Nice cafe, lovely tree lined avenues and must recommend the museum of natural history. Loved it. 10 minute stroll from Gare Du Lyon where we left our luggage for €7.50. Highly recommended.

This hotel was the worst I have EVER been in. Even a hotel in Jemen has a better standard than this one. Location is not very nice even if it is not very far from the city center. When we stayed here for one night the room was not clean. So they had to clean it and we went out to buy water. When we got back to the room the bed were missing the blankets. When I asked the guy in the reception (who had sweatpants on) he told me that he was really sorry but the did not have any clean ones left. How is this possible? We only got duvet covers and we were freezing the entire night. It was worthless and totally destroyd our day in Paris. Reception manager was not friendly at all even if the young guy in sweatpants was kind, it did not make up fpr the fact that the hotel was terrible. It smelled so bad from cigarrets and the rooms was super tiny! Do not go here!

The hotel was average. As other reviews stated the rooms are small, which I knew before we booked and really didn't bother me much. The location is decent. Around 20 minute walk to Notre Dame. The subway is quite close- Jussieu station- 4 min walk. When you come out of the station, look across the street and walk up the hill. The hotel will be on the right-hand side about 400 m away. On the downside, the service left a lot to be desired. The staff just didn't seem to be knowledgeable about how to get around Paris or give directions. Couldn't recommend best ways to get to the airport, didn't know what time trains started. Beyond handing us a map of Paris, they weren't much help. There is a small market and restaurants within a two minute walk. I suppose they turn the air-conditioning on in the summer, but in April the rooms were quite warm with no air conditioning. We were told it was off, which left us with the option of opening the window and hearing cars all night, or sweating in our beds. There's a nice garden right across the street, and it's a short walk to the river. The Wi-Fi is free and a very decent speed. Was able to Skype and do everything we need on the Internet.

We cannot recommend this hotel to anyone. We stayed for 5 nights in March and found it poorly managed, the room dirty, and with one night time staff exception, the front desk staff indifferent. Breakfast room was literally chaotic, there was never enough hot water supply in morning, never enough toilet paper back-up (ran out twice). We are seasoned travellers, speak fluent French, and have stayed in other hotels of this category in Paris. We can put up with small, but not with dirt!
As others have stated, the best thing about this hotel is its location. We only chose it because our favourite hotel was booked and because of its rating on Trip Advisor. We cannot understand how anyone can report enthusiatically about it.

We stayed here for 3 nights. A double room is quite small but has everything you need, beds are fine, tea & coffee making facilities, you must ask for milk though. There's very little space around the room, be aware this is just a room to sleep in. You are not here for the fancy hotel. The bathroom is tiny, to feel space you may want to leave the door open to use the sink a door must be open or squish in and close it. But make sure you are close to your partner, do NOT stay here on a first trip away -it's too small for dignity or illusion.
It needs a real face lift. Not super clean, very basic, there lift is tiny also, a common theme in this hotel.
Avoid breakfast as there's loads of bakerys outside for breakfast and coffees, all very reasonable. One thing for sure this hotel is very well situated on the Jussieu metro stop on line 3 and 10. Really handy for hopping in and out of the city.
But I would not recommend this hotel for luxury or romantic trip away, it is perfect for a basic room to sleep in with NO frills and great location.

Room Tip: All are tiny there's no difference. Walls are quite thin so no light sleepers need apply.

My friend and I stayed here 15th-18th March 2013. The hotel is rather small, but it is very clean and nicely decorated. It's in a great location! (Right next to Jussieu Metro).

The staff at the hotel could not do enough for us; they recommended bars, offered us directions and maps, gave us general advice and even an umbrella each courtesy of the hotel because it was raining one night!

I have nothing negative to say at all!

It was a pleasure to stay there, I would definitely stay again.

There was hair on the bathrooom floor and next to the sink, dust on the table, phone and nightstand. The sheets were clean and that was it when cleaning after previous guests is concerned. I was not expecting luxury but I cannot believe that 500 Euros for 4 nights does not cover basic hygiene. I do not understand how people find these conditions to be good because I chose this hotel exclusively on the basis of reviews on Trip Advisor. And another thing - the noise was terrible; it sounded as if something heavy was rolling down the pipes or ventilation or whatever.
