We booked a weekend break with Eurostar. When we arrived we were pleasantly surprised by an up grade to an open space room. The design of these rooms is totally unique. The best part was the amazingly comfortable bed. I slept like a baby. We were in room 401 that although it was next to the lift we didn't hear a thing.
The location of 7 Effiel is perfect for access to the metro and walking to many of the famous sights if you are a city stomper like myself. There were bars, restaurants and supermarkets all within walking distance. Have a look at the local market which is open on a Saturday where you can get fresh baguettes stuffed full of tuna or chicken or cheese.

This is our 2nd stay at the hotel and once again we have enjoyed very comfortable beds and well-designed (if small) rooms with excellent shower, and great breakfast and relaxing communal areas, including a fabulous roof terrace. It's on an interesting, quiet street just a short stroll from the Eiffel Tower, with lots of authentic restaurants and shops on the doorstep.

My7 year old wanted to see the Eiffel Tower and I was longing to revisit Paris again - and wanted to find a city break that would enable us to see the sites easily and stay somewhere that felt a bit luxurious, yet was ' 7 year old child' friendly.
The Hotel 7 Eiffel was perfect for both.
It is set in a quiet side street, just 10 minutes on foot from the hotel.
When you emerge from the side street, you are greeted by the wonderful backdrop of the Eiffel Tower - which was a thrilling site.
On this main street are wonderful bakeries, chocolate shops, boutiques and traditional and more modern cafe's and bistros - so it is easy to get something to eat. There are also 2 supermarkets - a Carreforre - smarter - and a more ordinary one.
The hotel itself is small but impressive, with a light and modern breakfast room, plus a bar / Lounge, with an open style fireplace, books and comfortable armchairs, where you can have coffee or a drink.
The basic breakfast was 10 Euros and consisted of bread, a croissant, freshly squeezed orange juice and tea, coffee or chocolate.
There was another breakfast choice for 20 Euros, with the above, plus cereals and cooked items.
You could also order items such as boiled eggs separately - such as 2 boiled eggs for 3 Euros.
There was a large room service menu - where meals started at around the 20 Euro mark - going right up to caviar and champagne.
I booked a a Premium room for the 2 of us, which consisted of a fairly decent sized room for these parts, with a Kingsize Bed, 2 person table and a desk. There was plenty of hanging space, a stocked mini bar, that also had soft drinks, that gave you space to say, store your own milk - which you might need - as only small sachets of powdered milk came with the kettle, coffee and tea. There is an in room safe. The bed was very comfortable. There were excellent small angled bedside light - which meant I could read without disturbing my daughter. Everything was clean and modern. The water pressure in the bathroom was great. Also had a flat screen tv.
And it was quiet, which all made for a great night's sleep.
My child was of a good age to stay somewhere quiet but you might feel a bit conspicuous if you had a gaggle of younger children or babies. That is the reason I have held back visiting anywhere like this with my daughter before now. For example, there were a group of older people playing bridge on the next table in the lounge/bar but must say that the hotel did not have a stuffy atmosphere at all. It is modern, fresh and quite funky.
The staff were very friendly and extremely helpful.
It is not dirt cheap but it was worth paying a bit more to have somewhere very nice to return to after sightseeing.
I would definitely recommend it if you are looking for a quiet, civilised stay somewhere central and modern.
I booked as a package through Eurostar - which I think saved me over 100 Euros on the room.

Room Tip: My room was located at the back of the hotel. Room 105.

The Hotel is clean but very small, this is reflected in the size of the rooms. The main seating area around bar is about the size of a large living room. Staff are friendly enough but the hotel really lacks the facilities and i can not stress again how small the rooms are. It is quite expensive which is fine as long as you get some value for the money. Apart from location and cleanliness I wouldn't say so. Location is reasonably good though but there are other hotels closer. I am a fan of privately owned boutique style hotels but this really doesn't hit the spot. After many stays in Paris I would stay in a larger chain hotel in Paris to avoid paying over the odds. Paris property prices are cheaper than London however their rooms are smaller and often dearer. I can not understand why people have rated it so highly, I was with some friends and we all thought the same. When i mean my room was small, there wasn't enough room to wheel my suitcase around to the other side of the bed.

Room Tip: The rooms vary considerably in size, I would suggest you ask to check your room first then if you fi...

The hotel is close (7 minutes stroll) to the La Tour Maubourg metro station giving easy access to the whole of Paris by Metro but within a very short walk of the Eiffel Tower from which the open top hop-on hop-off bus can provide transport around the city. The river trip also departs from this point so the hotel is really close to any transport one could want.
It has a lovely roof-garden and there are several restaurants serving a wide variety of cuisine within a few minutes walk of the front door. The staff are very accommodating and held luggage prior to check-in and after check-out so that we were free to sight-see at the beginning and end of our stay.
The standard tea in the rooms is Lapsang Souchong, which is an acquired taste but on request reception provided breakfast tea for us.
