Hotel Le Colisée is perfectly located in central Paris, a short walk from the Arc de Triumph. The room was stylish with a balcony, but it was so small!!! I know - for Paris it is normal. Breakfast was meager, just coffee and croissant. Hotel is located in close proximity to the Grand Palais and the Louvre museum. We were able to get to other areas of the French capital by public transport, which stopped outside the hotel. Wi-Fi was free.

I stayed 1 night (weekday) in this hotel. Rooms are very small but enough for business stay and sleep. Breakfast was not included and I decided to try it sowhere else on the way to the office. The staff at check-in was nice and helpful but I was surpsised with amount of paperwork (but maybe this is normal in France or Paris; I travel a lot in Europe and US and it was always much simplier).
At check-in they stated that 1 bottle of water is for free but at check-out they charged me for it :(

Perfect location for sightseeing. 50m to Roosvelt metro station. In the same time not loud (I had window at the front, 4th floor and it was OK).

I was staying at the hotel opposite this one, but had a problem there (no hot water at 10pm!) and decided to cross the road and try my luck. Not only I got a room for an unbelievable price (that turned out to be cheaper than the one I had booked online for the other hotel) but also that hotel made my trip worthwhile. The room is clean, cosy, everything is new, the cupboards have a fresh scent inside and the mini-bar has everything you may possibly need in the middle of the night. Despite the fact that this hotel is literally in the heart of Paris, right there where the huzzle buzzle of Champs Elysees meets Arc du Triomphe, the street it is in is quite, full of hidden gems: a bakery (most delicious things for your breakfast), a cinema, a wine taste bar. Location wise one cannot ask for more. Add that to the good price, the friendly staff, the cleanliness of this hotel and you are sure to enjoy your trip to Paris even more. From the hotel to Gare du Norde I paid 12 euros by taxi and it was a very entertaining drive (despite the driver running like a looney), because you get to see the main sightseeings on the way. Definitely recommend it and cannot wait to return. I am sure to stay there again.

The Best Western Hotel Le Colisee Paris is one of the very few hotels in Paris that anyone could find fault with. Not only is it value for money but it is located in a prime position, just meters from the Champs Elysées, and one has access to all the elegant shops, movie houses, side walk cafes and of course restaurants.
You are also able to walk to all of the major attractions or catch a Hop on /off bus and the bus stop is located near the hotel. The subway metro is just meters away from the hotel.
When we entered the hotel we notice the elegant decor more like a 4 star Hotel; it is so clean and everything neat and in order and this is due to their very friendly and extremely competent manageress Francoise who ensures that a high standard is kept.
Francoise gave us such a warm welcome, and because we were a bit early on arrival she gladly locked our baggage away (which was later taken up to our room by the staff, while we were walking around the Champs Elysées.)
She gave us a map of Paris and highlighted of all the places of interest and gave us very informative instructions / information about the city - you cannot get better efficiency than that.
Our room allocation was on the 6 floor and access is made by either an elevator or the stairs.
Entry to the room is made by means on a security card. The room was a triple room and was spacious enough. First impressions of our room were the last impression which was comfortable, exceptionally neat and clean; nothing broken nor missing.
The bedding was crisp clean, no holes or stains on the linen and very comfortable. There was also a safe in the cupboard to stow away valuable items. There was a tv with multiple channels for your entertainment, well stocked bar fridge and tea & coffee facilities.
The bathroom was very clean and had a bath & shower & hair dryer. There were no signs of mildew or water leakages anywhere. The bathroom is well stocked with soaps, shampoo, shower caps, white towels etc...
The breakfast was lovely; continental and well presented - sufficient. It consisted of cereals, eggs (boiled & scrambled) ,cold meats, cheeses, breads, pastries, fresh fruit, yoghurt, champagne .The staff working in the breakfast area were always very polite, efficient and smiling
There is always someone to assist you at the front desk no matter what time of the day or night .
Francoise and her staff will ensure that anyone staying in Paris at the Best Western Le Colisee Hotel will have a memorable holiday.
We highly recommend this Hotel as our experience was a thoroughly enjoyable stay and will definitely be staying there on our next visit to Paris in the near future.

I would start this review saying that this hotel has an awesome location. Is right next to the Franklin D. Roosevelt Metro station, and at walking distance from moste of the major tourist attractions in Paris.
I would like to warn people who are looking to relax and get a good night sleep to avoid this hotel, as the street (Rue du Colisee) tends to get blocked really often by delivery vehicles or garbage trucks and all the drivers start honking their horns like they are posessed...
Parisian drivers have a big issue with common sense......in my oppinion it's not normal to use your horn for 30 seconds at 3AM in a residential area...
The food at the hotel offered as breakfast is ok, you don't really have much to choose from, but it's enough to get you started on the right foot. You can also ask for breakfast to be served in your room, but i don't recommend it, as they tend to bring you something else than you ordered and it's not much more than a continental breakfast. For 16 EUR/person you can eat breakfast everywhere you like on the Champs Elysee.
The rooms are cleaned every day and they are well maintained, but the persons who clean them are a bit careless regarding your belongings and hygiene. For example ... when i returned to the room after a day of walking, i found on the table a pair of dirty socks that were previously left on the floor...
Most of the reception people are nice and helpful, but there is one guy with glasses (i don't remember his name) who look as if he has landen from the moon the day before.

I would recommend this hotel to those who want a good location, but for the price you can find better options. The Metro has stations everywhere so it's really no big issue to use it for getting around the city.
