“Good value for money”

The staff was friendly, we got the room with the view to Tour Eiffel - ask for this. Hotel to sleep in, not to stay during the day. Close to the Metro. The room is small as well as the bathroom. On arrival an unpleasant smell from bathroom - probably the syphoning is not properly done. Close to UNESCO palace.

Room Tip: A room with a view to Toue Eiffel

great basic hotel with underground parking which is perfect. Situated a short walk from all of Paris most famous landmarks it was lovely for a short weekend break. I used the metro on the return from my walks which was incredibly cheap and easy. Breakfast was brilliant with lots of continental choices and the hotel was quiet and we slept well. My only tiny pick would be the very strange snow covered walls in the corridors and weird 1970s colour schemes but when you approached the lift and see the Eiffel tower out of the window it by far outweighed the dated deco!!

Room Tip: get a free map from reception, ample for a weekend treck to all the sights

I went to Paris with a group of friends and stayed at this hotel. It's very easy to get to from Eurostar (about 45 min train journey). The closest train station (cambronne) is about a 1 minute walk from hotel.

The staff were very friendly on arrival and lovely throughout our stay. I read reviews of the hotel before we went, and many people mention that the rooms are small - this is true, especially the bathroom BUT this isn't a problem! I mean, how long are u going to spend in the bathroom if you're in Paris for the weekend?! lol the room was very clean. We had a table to put our suitcase on, a very comfortable bed with extra pillows. The bathroom comes with shower gel (no shampoo or conditioner) and soap to wash your hands. The TV is all in french except BBC News which is in English. The rooms are sound proof (or at least, i didn't hear any noise from outside!) and the heating is brilliant. I get cold very quickly and was worried when i saw a tiny radiator on the wall but it was enough to keep the whole room warm. the only thing I could possibly complain about is the noise the bathroom extractor fan makes. there's no way to switch it off which was annoying because I'm a light sleeper BUT it's a consistent sound so I got used it after 5-10 minutes.

We paid 9.5 euros for breakfast which was a continental buffet. Delicious, fresh croissants, pain au chocolate, crepes, yogurt, cereal, cold meats, cheese and the loveliest fresh bread. Juices and ample of tea, hot chocolate and coffee (served with warm milk) was available alongside lots of fruit.

Around the corner from the hotel are 2 late night 'take away' places. Not sure what time they're open until but we were there at 1am on Friday night and it was v.busy. Good variety of food, reasonably priced.

A short stroll away from the hotel (5 minutes) there's a high street with lots of shops like Gap, H&M, McD's and big supermarket/department store. There's also a starbucks if you're missing your home luxuries.

Eiffel Tower is about a 15-20 gentle stroll. On Sundays, there's a large fruit and veg market open which was nice to experience.

All in all, I would recommend this hotel - it's a nice hotel which is great for a weekend away if you're planning on spending more time OUTSIDE the hotel than in. If you're looking for a romantic hotel, I wouldn't recommend this one.

Room Tip: Rooms on 6-8 floor have a view of the Eiffel Tower.
