We checked out of another hotel due to location. This place is great! Walking distance from the Eiffel tower and the Hop on hop off tours. Check in was fast and the staff were superb! Now on to the room. It was SO beautiful!! Gorgeous, comfortable, clean and well appointed! If im ever in Paris again I will stay there! You wont be disappointed in anything!

Beautiful room and bathroom. B&O tv showing BBC channels.Free wifi. Close to Eiffel Tower and a metro station, plus some great cafes just around the corner that were full every evening. Quiet at night. Hotel reception staff very helpful.

We stayed for 3 days at the end of February. Whilst we were wary of the location (having previously always stayed near the Champs Elysees), actually it was perfect - 10 minutes walk to the Eiffel Tower, loads of great restaurants in the area (highly recommend La Marionette and 7eme Vin) and the Metro (La Motte Piquet Grenelle) only a 2 minutes walk away which is on 3 lines and can get you anywhere in Paris quickly.

The decor of the hotel is beautiful and it certainly lives up to it's "boutique" aspirations and everything oozed quality. The bed was very comfortable, and the room , albeit somewhat small for a Superior (46), was very nicely finished, very quiet and adequate for only a 2 night stay.

The breakfast buffet at 16 euros was expensive in a not not very atmospheric room, so we walked 2 minutes onto the main street where, croissants, orange juice pain and coffee was only 9e.

The staff were always friendly and "smiley" and the Ares Eiffel is a great place to stay that we will happily recommend to all our friends.

D&J

Room Tip: We had a Superior Room (46) and it was just about big enough - I wouldn't have wanted smaller!!

We stayed as a surprise celebration for my wife's birthday. The hotel is absolutely fantastic, the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms are beautiful and brilliant. Boutique hotel which has a lovely feel. The room we stayed on was a superior and very good size, with a great shower! Location perfect. We will be back it was that good!! Thank you.

We recently enjoyed this hotel on a 5-night stay in Paris. The staff was attentive and the property was well decorated and extremely clean. Just a few blocks off the Champs de Mars, we loved to walk to the Eiffel Tower and found a nice boulangerie along the way. The shops and restaurants in the area were fairly plentiful and a great neighborhood to visit, but we found ourselves venturing out to all of the neighborhoods as they each offer a unique character. The metro station is a few blocks away and several convenience stores are along the way. We had read prior reviews talking about room service at the hotel, but we were not advised of any room service availability. As with many high traffic European destinations, the rooms are very small... but you're in Paris, so you don't wish for room confinement.

It was January and freezing temperatures, and our room HVAC couldn't take it. We could nearly see our breath in the cold air, but the staff promptly brought us a space heater upon request, and the room warmed back up within a day as the weather also improved. I wasn't thrilled to find that our room attendant had turned on the space heater while we were out and placed it near my laptop. That near disaster of fire and/or electronics destruction was our biggest complaint. Thereafter we hid the space heater, unplugged in the closet, to avoid future risks.

The neighborhood was quiet except for an area school of screaming kids. The weekend was very quiet, and we encountered no nighttime sleep disturbances.

I wouldn't hesitate to return to this hotel, but our favorite neighborhoods were the Champs Elysees or the Latin Quarter. Packer fans in the Latin quarter MUST stop into the WOS bar as it's the Packer bar in Paris. The Latin Quarter offered a great feel plus the Pantheon and some great cafes around the Sorbonne. Our favorite boulangerie was in Saint Germain de Pres.

Hotel was very clean, and the bathroom was wonderful. It made a nice change to have a bath tub and a double shower. The bath was especially inviting after a long day walking round Paris. Room was slightly on the small side but was very nicely decorated and was able to fit in a put up bed for my 9 year old son. We didn't utilize the minibar but thought it was a reasonable price of 5 euros a day. Very good location for the Eiffel Tower and plenty of shops, bars and restaurants nearby if you didn't want to travel far in the evening. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Would stay again.
