“Good, but expensive”
Reviewed June 14, 2012

Cramped but functional room, a quiet fridge, and a decent enough location. Walking distance to a local metro station (Convention), trains are frequent and easy to find your way around the city.

Breakfast was good. Bar was overpriced, just make use of the supermarket on the corner for drinks.

Wifi is free, and the staff are friendly. Its across the road from a school, but besides that you should get a decent nigt's sleep for Paris!

Positive sides:
- New rooms
- Good price for Paris
- Free wifi
- Very tasty breakfast (small but very chosen assortiment)
Ok :
- 10min by taxi from Eifel Tower and area around
- stuff was very helpful in terms of direction, room cleaning, other services
- the recommended restaurant is pretty expensive (foie gras is more than perfect, steak is more than ordinary)
Negative:
- location required 3 times change a train from CDG :(
- it's not walking distance from Tower, Notre Dam, etc.
- groceries around is closing veeeery early;
- lady from berakfast area starting to move out food too early (like 15min before end)

Good luck!

Although this hotel is not really central, it was a pleasant oasis in a really nice neighbourhood.

The location is within a hal hour walk of the Eiffel Tower but you'll have to Metro it anywhere else. The good news is that the hotel is right in between two stations on different lines making it convenient to get to many destinations without having to change trains.

The hotel is small and yes, the rooms are really small. However, we didn't find them that bad since we weren't doing much more than sleeping there. Wonderfully modern rooms were terrific and they appear to have been recently re-modeled. I loved the shower which had a rain shower above and a wand unit on the wall. They both worked at the same time too!

There is a nice lounge on the main floor if you are there with friends and the breakfast room is really nice.

Don't be fooled by the 3 star rating. This one seems more like a 4 star and probably isn't due to the small rooms. Overall a safe bet for your stay in Paris.

Room Tip: There is only one small elevator so you may want to choose floor 1 or 2 and use the stairs.
