“Great find in a big city for families”
Reviewed April 11, 2013

We booked this hotel after much searching online and it had to fit some strict criteria. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 children, close to city centre, parking onsite and on a medium budget. This hotel fits the bill. Great views and good clean rooms. Didn't have the breakfast but found a boulagerie nearby. The apartments are clean and ideal for a short stay.

Room Tip: Views are good for all visitors. My brother was upgraded to a suite for one of the nights he stayed...

Big studio with all the comfort, including small kitchen with all accessories, big bathroom, Wiev to the Seine & Eiffel tour, good shops around. Not a touristique area just for parisiannes ! Coffee shops + croissons + baguettes...At the night time we saw the lights of "Bateauס mouche" sailing queitly on the river.Few metro stations nearby. What else you need to enjoy the real Paris?
We were there twice .

Room Tip: Choose a higher floor river wiev.

Although the apartment was cost effective a real downfall is that they have no WIFI internet, something you should expect from any hotel these days. The reception staff were pleasant, easy access to public transport and close to a supermarket

This seems to be the trend of effective Hotels in Mega-Cities: little rooms, where every square meter is planned if possible for multiple functions. The little cooking corner has a refrigerator, dishwasher and two cooking plates. If you want to have some space to move around in your room without stumbling, you have to fold away the beds. If you want to sit at the tiny table with two persons you first have to get into action by putting the covers of the bed in the overcrowded closet and folding away the bed. The windows can not be opened.
Furthermore these beds are not made up every day, neither is your room cleaned daily. Only after one whole week the, in the meantime really dirty, room is cleaned. Then for the first time you get new towels, your linens are renewed and the bed is not made up by yourself for once. So when you normally come back to your room at the end of the day, there is always the same dirt and disorder, used towels and the unmade bed as in the morning. Also the bathroom is there with the same stains and dirty basin as before. But you wanted holidays, no? You wanted to see the city of love, talk the language of Moliere and relax a bit in the few days you are in Paris, no?
Although there is a substantial lack of housekeeping-service and only little space, you nevertheless pay the premium price for the rooms. The whole thing is called euphemistically 'Studio'.
Besides the hotel has no charm at all (sorry to say so), modernly cold and it could be anywhere in the western world. The staff is moderately friendly. There is a good internet by cable without any WiFi. There are three good fitness machines in a very little transitory 'fitness-room' and a mini 'swimming-pool' where there is no room for the activity of its name (swimming).
So at the end you feel a bit caved in and not happy.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the Tour Eiffel and/or a room on the highest floors.

Our family stayed here for the past 5 nights. When we checked in our room wasn't ready but they offered us a different room with Eiffel Tower view. It was spectacular. The rooms heat unfortunately did not work the entire time we were there even tho the technician came in to try and repair it. Try offered another room without a view so we suffered. It was a bit chilly but they gave us extra blankets. Breakfast was available at the hotel/ apartment for over 13€ which I found a little to pricey and didn't bother getting. Walking distance to the tower. Great cafes and food nearby. They all were English speaking which was extremely helpful. Disneyland tickets and airport car services for hire are available from front desk. All in all would highly recommend!

I booked this through the Accor website not knowing what I was getting myself into. I was traveling with my wife and 3 kids all below the age of 5. The hotel was perfect for what we needed. It is in a great location near the Eiffel Tower. The apartments were big enough for the family and we were provided with a crib for our 1-year old. The kitchenette was extremely suitable with coffee maker, water heater, microwave, fridge, and dishwasher. Also, it's 2 blocks away from a major grocery store...no need for expensive breakfasts!!
The staff was excellent and very accommodating and the price was good for Paris! The only bad thing was that there is no one to help get bags up to the room or down from the room when checking in or out. If you are traveling with a lot of kids or long-term, this was a bit of a pain.
Upon returning to Paris, we will stay here again no questions asked!
