We hope to welcome you back to our hotel very soon!
Perfect hotel location, close to all public transport. Very Big city! Metro & RER are best transport. Le bus routes perfect for transfers from Charles de Gaulle. Do take a scooter/ bike ride to explore the city.
No swimming pool, unhelpful room service line, popular chain so unwelcoming staff.
Thank you for sharing your experience following your recent stay here at the Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel on TripAdvisor.
We are glad to see that you enjoyed our location and Paris.
Please allow me to apologise for the various elements of your stay (staff and room service line) that led to disappointment. I can assure you that this is not the level of service that we strive to provide to our guests.
I do hope that we will have a future opportunity to welcome you back to Paris and show you a real Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
Property was plain, more suited for a business location rather than holiday guests. Limited facilities and bar had a sterile, motel feel to it. Gardens in front and around the property were all overgrown with weeds, a first impression on arrival, and just a reflection of a lack of overall presentation and care.
Located close to Eiffel Tower, but this is away from most of the other sights in Paris. In saying this we had no problems making our way around the city.
Picked this hotel because we had an Eiffel Tower view.. well not entirely, we were closely facing another 14 storey hotel with the tower above this!
In defence of the hotel, overall property standard is not great in all Paris hotels, so becomes a choice of three star experiences unless you’re prepared to spend plenty more. And realistically, we spent little time in our room, so not a huge issue.
Thank you for taking the time to write a review of our property.
We are attached to the first impression and the quality of service delivered to our guests, and this is why we are grateful for this return of experience you sent us. Be sure that our teams have been informed about your feedback.
Regarding the Eiffel Tower view, in fact there is not an entiere view of it, so we are sorry if it were not meeting your expecations. I hope that all this details were not impacted your experience in our hotel and in Paris.
I look forward to welcome you back and to to change your mind about the quality of our hotel.
My wife and I stayed for one night transit for shower and rest on our return to Atlanta, USA from week long Europe trip. The room was bare minimum (not up to a 4 star level), with no shower gel or body wash, no soap, no shampoo, no lotion. Reception never picked up our phone, we came down three times to reception to request bathroom accessories and they assured us those will be there immediately. In reality, they only sent one small round soap bar, nothing else. We will never stay in this particular hotel, looks like they do not care at all since the location is good. We stayed in another Accor Hotel in Nantes, France, where the service was excellent, like a real 4 star hotel.
Thank you to sharing with us your experience in Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel.
First, I hope you enjoyed your trip in Europe. Unfortunately, I am sad to read that you last step in our hotel were not meet your expectations. All the team and in particulary the reception want to apologize to not having feel you welcome. We always want the best quality for our guest and thanks to your comment, we will try to improve our quality of services.
I hope you give us the opportunity to welcome you back and yield the best stay.
The check-in and check-out process was painless as the staff there spoke good English. We were able to check in about an hour earlier due to availability.
There were a total of 3 elevators and upon selecting the floor, it will prompt you to which elevator to take (A, B, or C). Keep in mind that you cannot change floors while on the elevator because there are no buttons to redirect to a different floor.
The hotel room itself was clean but extremely small. We booked the cheapest room so we did not have a view nor a stocked refrigerator. However, the amenities were very lacking at this hotel. For example, there were no iron and ironing board inside the room. Apparently from reading other reviews, you are required to go to the top floor to iron your clothes or request one from the front desk. Even the cheapest and the sketchiest motels have an iron and an ironing board! The room also has a patheticly weak hair dryer that barely worked and luckily we brought our own shampoo because their "all-in-one" shower gel & shampoo didn't seem like it would make a good shampoo whatsoever. There is also no condition or lotion.
The room has a decently sized television with many stations, with a few English channels (French24 in English, BBC, CNN International, and Aljazeera in English). The Wi-Fi is free, open (i.e. no login/password required) and fast. The water pressure for the shower was great but I really disliked how the toilet and the sink were in two separate rooms. The thought of everyone using the bathroom and then having to open the door to enter another room to wash their hands grossed me out. In addition, the shower stall doesn't have a door; instead, it had some small glass guard that's supposed to hold back all the water that splashes out of the stall. Overall, very poorly designed rooms.
The room has a water boiler, a mini refrigerator, and a sofa bed. We didn't use the sofa bed but it looked terribly uncomfortable although the bed itself was comfortable. There is an extra pillow inside one of the two closets and each closet comes with 3 hangers.
While the hotel left much to be desired, the location was excellent. It is a short walk to Bir Hakim station and a RER C station even a shorter distance away. You can see the majestic Eiffel Tower from just walking outside the hotel and it is only a block away by walking. Absolutely loved the location.
This was one of the cheaper options in the area and I would suggest staying here if you want to be near the Eiffel Tower; however, I thought the location wasn't as exciting (i.e. cafes and restaurants) as other parts of Paris outside of the Effiel Tower being really closeby. It's missing a lot of character that other parts of Paris has to offer. There is a grocery store (Franprix) directly across the Bir Hakim station and an ATM a short walk from there.
Thank you for taking the time to write a detailed review of your experience in Mercure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel,
First, i want to apologize that the room and all the facilities inside didn't meet your expectation :
- Regarding the iron and ironing boarding, as you may have noticed, indeed you need to ask to reception or go to the twelfth floor. It is a choice of the hotel to not put them in every single room.
- About the lotions, Nuxe products are proposed in all priviliged rooms and as of now we are going to set up it in all the rooms.
Nevertheless, it is a pleasure to note that you enjoyed our location and that you recommand our hotel despite everything.
We hope you to welcome you back in our hotel soon to live the best experience that we can give you.
We stayed at the hotel on our return trip for one day. The room looked nice, and looked like the room was renovated. We asked for additional stuff and they were provided correctly without much follow-up.
Thanks for showing us your confidence an other time. I hope the next time, your experience is going to be even better. We work everyday to give the best quality of services to our customers.
We are looking forward to welcoming you still many years.
