Spent 4 nights at this hotel at the end of May, the hotel is in a prime location from where all the major tourist attractions of paris are easily accessible. Easily accessible from CDG via RER B and RER C. The hotel is literally a 3 min walk to the Eiffel Tower, 5min walk from RER C stop and is surrounded by small café's and restaurants. The hotel staff spoke fluent English and were very helpful with requests. The hotel is super clean and neat, stayed on the 11th floor and had an amazing view of the tower, although the tower is right outside the hotel. The hotel offers discount tickets to Disneyland paris, they even arrange a shuttle for you.
Be cautious around the Eiffel Tower area for dodgy girls requesting donations, they harass you if you speak English and refuse to donate cash, stay away from the cup and ball gambler on the streets and stay away from the clown at the Eiffel Tower he will ask you for money even if you take photo of him.
Overall the stay in paris was amazing, the food and people were great despite the other reviews I've read, very friendly and helpful people all over.

This hotel certainly added a special charm to our trip.

Room Tip: Eiffel Tower view is amazing, however if you are out the whole day, it will be of no use. Rather skip the breakfast at the hotel, explore the streets of paris for more affordable and different cuisine. A real good value for money item is the Hop on Hop off buses, use it as a taxi to navigate the city at your own pace over two days. Romantic walks along the seine river any part of the day is amazing, seine river is 5min walk from this hotel.

Booked the Mecure Paris Centre Tour Eiffel Hotel for a weekend stay in Paris and I cannot recommend the hotel highly enough! Booked an Eiffel Tower room view which was fab staff were very accommodating and gave us a great room with a fantastic view. I would recommend asking to be put on one of the higher floors if you book this room (we stayed on the 12th floor which I would ask for again when we go back!). Its 2 minutes away from the famous Eiffel Tower and the metro stations Champ De Mars Tour Eiffel & Bir-Hakiem are only 5-10 mins walk away which is a great way for getting around Paris. We never used the restaurant in the hotel however we ordered room service and the food was lovely and was delivered to our room extremely quickly! Overall we will be staying at the hotel again cannot recommend it highly enough, staff are extremely friendly & accommodating! :-)

I enjoyed the stay at the hotel but the service at the front desk was poor and the staff members were not very nice. It's OK place if you don't care about the people at the front desk. The restaurant at the hotel is not recommended. it's expensive and not that great. You can find better places around including local bakeries.

We stayed from June 9-11 at Mercure Centre Tour Eiffel and was very pleased when we saw it was just a few steps away from the Eiffel Tower and a few meters away from the Metro. Check in was a breeze with Fabien, the receptionist and my kids were even given a complimentary eiffel keychain.
However, when I was informed by Villa San Pietro Hotel at San Giovanni Rotondo, Foggia, Italy, that the Prada glasses I left at their hotel was sent to Mercure Centre Tour Eiffel and was received by their staff last June 7, 2013, things turned out for the worse. At first the staff said it was received and was just going to locate it and then when we dealt with another Mercure staff, she brushed us off with a very unpleasant attitude and said that it wasn't there with them. We contacted the courier GLS and saw that the parcel was indeed sent on the specified date. Until now, we haven't received anything yet from there. All we ask is common courtesy and for them to give us feedback on this since the courier can attest that the hotel received it.
