Good standard Marriott, nothing special but you always know what you're getting with Marriott. This place is huge, and was very crowded with tourists when I stayed. Waiting for the lifts down to breakfast takes forever, but that's the same in any busy hotel. Room was nice, spotless and as usual a very good bed.

Stayed for one night. Nice and clean hotel, but boring. Location close to metro but few shops, restaurants and cafés in the neighborhood. Luckily we seached tripadvisor for restaurants in the neighborhood and found Auberge Etchegorry, a cosy basque restaurant nearby. If you stay at Marriot don't miss that restaurant. We didn't pay for the room ourselfs as it was part of a conference, but we would NEVER pick this hotel (for a weekend getaway) or pay the listed price if we had the choise.

Has got good conferencing facilities, many rooms to accomodate huge groups. Rooms are nice, has a wide spread of breakfast & has multiple restaurants. Has a fitness centre & Executive lounge aswell. The staff is very helpful & co-operative. Has departmental store at 10 mins walking distance. Metro station is close by.

We stayed here on points for my birthday and it was an average stay. We chose this hotel as it had a lounge and I'm a Marriott Platinum member. Upon arrival, the hotel really didn't bother that it was my birthday (they saw from my passport) which is fine but you always here of other hotels going above and beyond and creating something special.

When my boyfriend asked them for a candle, they said oh, is there a birthday, he said yes and that's all they said!

The reviews are basically spot on about it being such a huge hotel for businesses, conferences, you had to wait in line at times 15-20 minutes for service.

Phillipe at the conceirge desk was a jerk, don't utilize him. Actually, most of the staff barely care to recognize you as a patron. I will NOT go to this hotel again just b/c of the cold treatment and the long lines and elevator wait (btw, there are 6 elevators)!

The location is far from city center but the train station is right there and if you make a right and walk about 1 mile, you will see a big mall and lots of eatery.

This is a typically business-style hotel, with a huge conference center, an overcrowded reception and a small breakfast area. Apart from all the disadvantages of such a kind of hotels, anyway, this one is not bad. Rooms are very comfortable and fully equipped, and beds in particular with a lot of pillows, as usual in the Marriotts. There is not the swimming pool, neither sauna or turkish bath, that in a prestigious hotel are nowadays nearly a must; otherwise the gym is very big and free of charge for those in the hotel. Breakfast is expensive but with a lot of choice available. Position is not in the center at all, and expext 10-15 minutes metro to go to the main Paris attractions.

Front desk and service is very indifferent.Had a tough time convincing that a couple requires a double bed and not two single beds!
The room was very small.you won't believe it- the loo is in a small closet like room, seperate from the bathroom!
There is no coffee maker in the room.
The hotel, however, is very conveniently located and easy to gind.Metro is within a walking distance.
Overall,a very poor experience.

Room Tip: Does not make any difference

This hotel is really showing it's age. Carpets, curtains, general decor, etc in very poor condition. I requested king bed, but got 2 singles in a shoe box of a room (459).

Room Tip: Most rooms are tiny. Ask for king and insist on it (I was too tired to argue)
