“Excellent location, pleasent stay”

We stayed for 6 nights in a room for four (parents+2 children)
The hotel is located in a nice little street about 50 metes from LAFAYETTE street and the mtro station. Near by there are restaurats, caffe, fast food, stores etc...
The room was very pleasent, the staff members very helpful, breakfast good. There is also good free wifi for the guests. The only thing that has not been ok was the weak water pressure.
Besides that we have enjoyed our stay in the hotel very much.

Room Tip: Rooms heading for the inner garden are quieter.

This hotel deserves a 5 star for cleanliness, service and location. Front desk staff are welcoming, always willing to help you with directions, best way to get where you want to go. Example is we wanted to go to Monmartre which we could have walked to but was all uphill. Instead they suggested we take the bus at the end of the street and enjoy the walk back. Which. Took about 45 minutes . If you are able to walk about and do not mind walking this hotel location is perfect. About. 40 minute walk to the Louvre, 1. Hours or little less to Eiffle tower. metro and buses minutes away. BEST Pastry shop about 20 feet from the front of the hotel across the cobblestone street and the goods offered was our breakfast every morning. Many wonderful and reasonable restaurants Within 5 to 20 minute walk of the hotel . Cafe Richard has great food but this was our favorite watering hole at the end of the day for a cocktail and to relax before going back to the hotel after a busy day or a late night drink or after dinner and strolling around. Thank you especially Alain,Nathan and Boris! Best. Italian restaurant for pasta or pizza is Caffe. Della Pizza. 2 streets over from hotel on rue Geoffroy Marie. Have fun! If you are looking for a well manned bar this they do not have but. Plenty of other places close by so not a problem.

Room Tip: They do not have king beds so I asked for a room with an additional bed in it for those toss and tur...

Working as an international executive, I am in Paris often for business. Normally I stay at the Intercontinental Opera, but this time around pricing and availability were a bit of an issue. I am not picky about hotels, so I decided to give this one a go, and I was actually quite happy with it. I find typically that the smaller more intimate hotels offer much better amenities than the larger commercial hotels, and this one certainly delivered.

I booked a package which offered a bottle of wine and a fruit basket in the room, which was great for being on the go. The hotel also offers a free daily continental breakfast which I found quite delicious. The hotel is on a quiet street right near all the main attractions and right off a metro line.

You have to leave your key with the desk when you leave which is fine with me, but I was quite surprised that most times the persons at the desk recognized me when I returned and I didn't even have to announce my room #.

There is also a quaint (and inexpensive) little bar at the lobby. Right next to the bar is a sort of "tranquility room" in an outdoor garden which is great for reading or getting some work done.

I will stay here again next time I come to Paris, I felt like I was with friends more than a standard hotel.

Room Tip: I only stayed in one room, so I couldn't speak to any locations, but I am sure all rooms are gre...

Nice little hotel. It's clean and location is great. The breakfast is very good, but stay clear of the coffee as its below average.
Overall a solid little performer! For the budget conscious its value for money.

After being one full week in this hotel we can recommend it to friends. The location is excellent. The service of the staff was very good. We enjoy staying in this hotel very much. When we were there the weather was fantastic and there were people sitting outside talking and drinking late into the night. We have been to Paris many times and we stayed in the Opera Cadet first time. We hope to return to the Opera Cadet next time.

Have just returned from a 3 night stay at this hotel and found it perfect for our needs. We chose it based on previous reviews and because it is within easy reach of Gare du Nord (about 15minute walk). The hotel is in a lively, but not rowdy side street close to Metro stations Cadet and Grand Boulevards so all main tourist sites are within easy reach. Montmartre is within walking distance if you're reasonably fit. We ate at local restaurants each evening. The hotel supplies a list of local restaurants.
We found our room small but very clean and comfortable. Our only complaint was the lack of tea/coffee making facilties in the room. It was very hot during our stay and we found the air con a bit slow to kick in but, once going it was fine and not at all noisy.
Hotel staff were all friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Breakfast was good. We particularly enjoyed the bar/terrace area. After a long, hot day of sightseeing it was wonderful to sit on the terrace with a glass of cold, white wine.
Would definitely use this hotel again.

Rooms at the back of the hotel are definitely quieter because the hotel is situated in a fabulous area but it is It was busy at night. Not rowdy by any means but we were not used to the noise and we were only there for 4 nights. When we were there the weather was fantastic and there were people sitting outside talking and drinking late into the night. We have been to Paris 4 times and we stayed in the Opera Cadet 3 times. We hope to return to the Opera Cadet next year.

Room Tip: Ask for a room at the back of the hotel. Very quiet................
