Rooms are so great, you can just chill in them and feel at home and relaxed, good tv, the most comfy mattress and an awesome bathroom.
The bar and breakfast area are good. Good breakfast and service.
The staff are all very friendly, happy and so helpfull.
Great vibe from this hotel, will stay here again.

Our group of 9 ranging from 7months old to 80 years old spent 4 nights at Opera Cadet in February 2013. The hotel conviently located close to the Gare Du Nord and has good access to the major attrations. We found the staff very helpful and friendly. Would recommend and stay at the hotel again.

I spent 3 nights in Paris with my husband and 15 years old son. We had a triple room which was bigger than my sister's Paris apartment and very comfortable. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with a wider range of choices than many hotels I've stayed at in Paris. There were cold meats, sausages, eggs (boiled and scrambled) as well as yoghurt, cheese and all the croissants and standard stuff. It is very close to the metro making it convenient for most any activity. It was all good and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Room Tip: We had a room at the back of the hotel. It was very quiet.

Opera Cadet is well positioned within the Opera district, so very handy to everything. Service was always cheerful even though we spoke hardly any French. Internet connection and breakfast is included in the daily room rate so no nasty add ons once you arrive.

All areas of the hotel were very clean and rooms nicely serviced each day, my only criticism would be the size of the beds which I found too small. If you are taller than 180cm be prepared for your feet to be off the end of the double beds. I did not check but they may have larger beds in larger rooms for a slightly higher room rate, at least make the request if you are a tall person.

Room Tip: If you are over 180cm a double bed room will not be comfortable for you.

I was here over this last weekend with family and overall we had a reasonably comfortable stay. We reserved a triple room and I must say that it was a very spacious room indeed. The one 'issue' with the rooms is the lack of available wardrobe space...you probably get more storage space in an old Soviet-era submarine cabin. This may not be too bad if you are by yourself for a day or two, but this was not a single room, it was designated as a family-style room which inextricably means that multiple people will be making use of the accommodation...ergo, more storage space required.
Overall, aside from this, the room was comfortable and was good to come back to after a long day escorting the family around the shops all day.
Breakfast was a nice simple affair. Small Buffet with a selection of continental choices and some items as well. The nicest thing about the Hotel is the quaint conservatory and garden that makes it quite an interesting property.
Location wise, this Hotel is very well situated and very close to Gare du Nord for the Eurostar...about 5 minutes in a taxi which is excellent. You are a 10 minute walk down Rue Lafayette to all of the Major shopping centres of Galeries Lafayette and Printemps. Please note, however, that after dark this part of Paris is not particularly safe. There are quite a few unsavoury characters hanging around the nearby metro station and near the hotel which makes things feel uneasy. It will be difficult to find good price for in Paris closer to the centre, but sometimes paying a few more euros to stay in the 1er arrondissement is worth it!

Good value, excellent service, great location adjacent to tube and reasonably priced restaurants. Decor needs an upgrade, beds were very comfortable, breakfast was ok. Walking distance of Gard de Nord, Monmatre, Sacrecure, and artist district.

Room Tip: Choose a room overlooking the courtyard garden
