We stayed at the Scribe for five nights in early September to celebrate several special events. The hotel, with its elegance and warmth, exceeded our expectations. It was beautifully appointed with fresh roses throughout the public areas and also in our room, which was spacious, clean and beautifully decorated. The entire staff was extremely courteous and helpful, especially Aurianne, Louis, Quentin, Audrey and Suki. We were able to walk to many of the sites of Paris (the Place Vendome, Opera, Champs Elysees and the Jardin des Tuileries),and the hotel is in an area of excellent bistros, shopping and the Metro. The Scribe restaurant, Le Lumiere, featured a French cuisine and our dinner and service were superb. We were also pleasantly surprised with the extensive breakfast buffet. The hotel Scribe will definitely be our choice when we return to Paris.
